We rested in this hotel in early July, Superior deluxe SV room. According to the reviews written here earlier, they were afraid to go, but the tickets had already been bought and the agency assured us that the hotel was good.

The hotel is very good for a 4 *, the food is good, the hotel grounds are great,
Vacationers: 70% Germans, 20% Poles, Italians, French, Ukrainians, 10% Russians. The hotel is focused on a relaxing family vacation and vacation with children. The beach is large sandy, which was very pleasing (a rarity for Crete). The road to the beach is really located across the road - but what was called a road here on the site in previous reviews is loudly said, I would attribute it to a pedestrian zone, cars and trains pass there at a speed of 5-10 km / h every 10 minutes . The pool is relatively large, there is a deep part of 3 meters, and there is also a separate children's, shallow pool.

Entertainment: beach volleyball, water polo, aqua aerobics, tennis court, small tennis, American billiards, children's room and playground with swings, animation in the evening.
The attitude of the staff is absolutely sane and does not correspond to previously written reviews, the staff, of course, does not know Russian, and even more so the Ukrainian language, but you can always resolve issues with them even in average English. And if you do not know even a little one of the European languages, then it seems to me that this is not the hotel's problem, but yours. You can go to Cyprus, an equally interesting island, where every second person speaks Russian.
Regarding excursions, I won’t say anything, we rented a car (Renault Megane Cabriolet - 140 euros for two days) and organized excursions for ourselves, unfortunately, we didn’t have time to go to Santorini, we rested only a week.
The nearest town of Hersonissos is 4 km (not 2 km, as they say in the reviews), the cost of a taxi is 8 euros, there are a large number of restaurants, bars, discos and souvenir shops.
To everyone who forgot or did not know - in Greece they sell magnificent fur coats, the choice is amazing (take the money).
I wish everyone in Anissa Beach a good and pleasant rest, you will not regret it.
