We young people just returned from vacation a couple of days ago... We travel quite often, this is not the first time in Greece, so there is something to compare with! The hotel was chosen for a very long time and stopped at the Belvedere, as the reviews were positive! The only question is, who wrote them??? ? Upon arrival, we were a little shocked by what we saw! The hotel is very huge with ill-conceived territory. We are not talking about design and Greek flavor at all! Such a boarding house "Energetik"! The main residents of the hotel are German families with children! There are no youth.
Rooms are standard but good. There are sea and mountain views. The room has all the amenities, only the faucet in the bathroom constantly alternated between hot and cold water, and not only in our room. Cleaning daily. Sometimes even bothered by the fact that by 08 in the morning the maid was knocking with a request to clean it up.
Now a little about nutrition... Let me start by saying that the time of breakfast, lunch and dinner is very inconvenient. Breakfast - from 7 to 9:30, lunch from 13 to 14:30 and dinner from 19 to 21:15. If you are late even for a minute, then you will be left without a meal, because at the end of the time everything is immediately removed. The atmosphere in the restaurant resembles a real canteen. It is very noisy, the waiters constantly clean the plates over their heads, knock on the cutlery, set the tables only on request. Food is good but repetitive. Same thing for 11 days.

I also want to note that drinks in the hotel bars are served in plastic cups....
Now about the most important thing - about the sea....Tour operators say that the hotel is on the first line... And they are not ashamed to lie so brazenly!?! ! It was about 1 km from our room to the beach....We had to go through the territory of our hotel, then cross a busy highway, where there is not even a crossing, and through the territory of the hotel, which is really located on the first line. The beach was not impressive... a lot of people and a small coastline. 2 sun loungers and an umbrella will cost you 10 euros
Key words about the hotel: large ugly territory, Soviet-style building, a huge number of rude Germans, VERY many children, lack of free places at the pool, at the bar and in the restaurant, paid towels, remoteness from the sea, high-voltage line passing almost through the hotel.........
We are cheerful and positive people, and in order not to spoil our holiday, we rented a car and traveled all over the island. We saw all its beauty with wonderful beaches, Greek flavor and excellent food. Greece is amazing, just be careful when choosing a hotel!!! !
