Hello, I was vacationing at the hotel with my family and friends from 06/20 to 07/04/10. I liked it very much, so I am writing in great detail. First of all, I want to note that the hotel is fully consistent with 4 *, the previous vacation in Turkey at 5 * was not even close to the current one. Firstly, it should be noted that there were no problems with the settlement, they settled in literally 5 minutes. The rooms are simple, but there is everything you need, everything is always cleaned and clean, they left a tip, sometimes the cleaning lady did not even take them. The only drawback in the rooms is the floor, if it is wet, it is very slippery, so be careful) The rooms are always very quiet, there will be no problems with sleep.
Earlier they wrote about mosquitoes, they really are, but it’s enough to close the balcony at night and they won’t be there so that it’s not hot, turn on the air conditioner, it’s not strong there, but it’s refreshing enough, and it won’t let you get sick.
The food is very tasty, the food was excellent, there were always fruits and delicious desserts, although sometimes there was no room for them, and fish, and meat, and pasta and potatoes, and vegetables, and free ice cream, in general, a variety is provided. Once for a vacation, you can sign up for a Chinese and fish restaurant, in a Chinese restaurant there are INSANELY delicious shrimp in batter, but you had to hunt for them, because they were taken apart at the speed of light =D

We ourselves traveled with a small child, a year and 8 months old, for him there was always something to eat, although he himself had not eaten from the common table before...
As for bars, it’s really impossible to take glasses to the beach, but this has never been a problem for us... I went for a drink and came back... There are a lot of super markets in the city, up to the nearest 50 meters, you can always find a bunch what we don't have. So if you really want to drink on the beach without getting up from the lounger, you can buy water there. There is one big hyper-market, but it takes about 12 minutes to walk right along the main street. Take there freshly squeezed juices in bottles of 1.5 euros, they are sooo delicious... As for food for children, there are problems with this in stores, but there are milk formulas for babies. You will not find children's yoghurts like our agush, but there are all sorts of plants...
In the previous review, the girl wrote about the dominant Italians. In fact, at first when we arrived there were a lot of them, in principle only Germans, Italians and Russians rest there, but we didn’t notice any discrimination... The hotel was half empty and there were no problems with places in the dining room or on the beach, but in the end, a very large arrival of Russians and Ukrainians arrived and we felt ourselves on the coast of Sochi. That's when the problems with sunbeds began, but you could always find them, if not by the sea, then by the pool, so you won't be left without a place. The beach is really small, but the hotel is not big either. The beach itself is excellent, the entry into the sea is sandy, there are few algae, there didn’t seem to be any sea urchins either, but just in case, it’s better to look under your feet.
The pools are clean, one 1.5m by the beach, there is also a children's pool 0.45 m and one inside the hotel from 1.5 to 2 m. This pool has a bar, but as already written, it closes at about 7, or rather at 6.
The territory of the hotel is impressive, very beautiful, everywhere there are flowers, fruit trees, girls have a lot of space for photography; )

As for animation. The Volando club team itself is an Italian animation network, this explains the animation in Italian and of course in English, when a large number of Russians arrived, a translation into Russian appeared, so everything is fair : ) It should be noted that there are also quite a lot of Germans, but in German no one translated anything... Although there are two Germans in the team... In general, citizens of the Russians learn English, at least a little bit, otherwise when you look at your uncle who asks for orange juice in Russian, it becomes somehow ashamed even... So the animators won't rush after you, but if you don't want to lie on the beach all day, you can go play volleyball, darts, botcha and a bunch of other unobtrusive things. The tennis court is free, you can get rackets at the reception, but if anything, I warn tennis players that rackets are disgusting, and you can’t call them rackets... but for beginners it’s okay : ) We asked about Cricket, but we were told we need to have special shoes with us, which they don’t give out, I don’t know what it looks like... but it’s also free... There is water gymnastics, and there is also seine gymnastics... also girls animators work in a mine club, a crowd of children always rush after them, but mini The club is not open all day. In general, the whole team is excellent cheerful young people, you can practice English with them if anything)) Those who can and want to communicate will not be bored with them, they are all friendly and sociable)))

Now about the city of Malia. This is the center of all the parties in Crete! If you want to hang out, then this is the best place. (You can also shop there) Very noisy in the evenings, but it should be noted that the hotel is ALWAYS quiet (! ) And you don’t hear music at all, so if you eat with a child, it is also an excellent choice, and the child will not be bored, because there are a lot of children!
I was also very pleased that when the doctor was called, he arrived within 10 minutes, and it was at the first hour of the night... and there were no problems with him, he could understand something in Russian, but the main conversation was in English... But if you try, I think he will understand everything in Russian.
The staff is all very friendly and everyone understands elementary phrases in Russian, some people can speak Russian, the girl Alice from the mini-club speaks Russian fluently.
In general, the holiday was a success! An excellent hotel, everything is simple, unobtrusive, all amenities are available, but if you want to posh look for something else and for other money) The island itself is incredibly beautiful, take a car, but not in a hotel, but in the city (cheaper), there on every corner rent, we even got a discount as guests of Malia Beach. Go on excursions, all beautiful and interesting))
