We rested at the Eva Mare hotel in early October 2011. The hotel is wonderful! A small family aparthotel, by the way 4 *, is located 20 km from Heraklion, in the village of Agia Pelagia, on a rather steep slope 100 meters from the sea. We booked a suite, its own and received.
Large room, divided into bedroom and living room. In the bedroom there is a canopy bed, a table with a kettle and tea accessories, wine glasses and glasses for water. There is a knife, no corkscrew. There is also a small sofa with pillows. Exit to the balcony.
Living room with a sofa, coffee table, large TV, DVD with a set of discs with films and games. A full bed was prepared for our daughter. C-node with a jacuzzi. A set of soap, shampoo, body lotion and bath foam was according to the number of residents, replenished only upon contact. Towels are always clean, changed daily. on the floor from a hole in the floor! The problem was solved so that the water flow to a minimum and after 20 minutes all the water safely went into the drain, and after half an hour the floor in the bathroom dried up by itself, since the bathroom has a window that we did not close. We also had a terrace with an exit from the living room, with a lawn, two thujas and a plant climbing along the wall, a metal table and three chairs. They didn’t put a dryer for us, like on other balconies, but we had a rope with clothespins (we are thrifty). There is a safe in the room, in the closet, for a fee. There are no beach towels, bring it with you or buy it in front of the hotel.

At the reception, Mario met us, escorted us to the room, carried the suitcase. A gift from the hotel - a coupon for a free carafe of wine in the hotel restaurant. Mario works at the reception and in the restaurant as a waiter. A pleasant, sociable person. We had no problems at the hotel, claims we don't have any!
The hotel area is small, there is a small swimming pool, a playground with sunbeds, a bar, tables with sofas, a playground. The hotel consists of two buildings, we lived in a freshly renovated building, with good rooms and a decent design. Our building was on a steep hill, many steps. Another building with smaller rooms (standard) overlooking the sea, with a small restaurant "Yamas" (To health), where breakfast was served, you can have lunch and dinner.
We had paid breakfasts. Breakfasts are normal: eggs, muesli, fresh cottage cheese, cheese, sausage, fresh pastries, biscuits, freshly baked bread, jam, honey, fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee, cocoa, milk o. Several times we dined and had dinner when too lazy to go somewhere. The dishes are good, the prices are normal. Beautiful interior, clean, comfortable!
The hotel is very quiet, I liked it very much! At the end of the Rent a car "Stop" building, a nice woman Georgia works there, we rented a car for 5 days, she gave us a map where she noted where to go, recommended interesting places. Wi-Fi, guys-neighbors talked on Skype.
We took a car with full insurance, Hyundai Accent for 160 euros. We drove 950 km, consumption 5.5 liters per hundred square meters. There were no problems! We didn’t get to Chania, it’s a bit far, well, nothing, next time!

Beach in Psaromura Bay. 100 m from the hotel, up a steep hill. The beach is good, pebbles, sand in the sea. The water is clear, clean, warm. We were lucky with the weather, it was warm, sunny, we swam and sunbathed. There are many sunbeds on the beach with umbrellas, they are paid-2 sunbeds 4 euros per day. You can sit on the pebbles on towels, which we often did. There is a shower and toilet. There is a bar. There are quite a lot of fish in the sea, we met two octopuses, flat crabs and sea centipedes. You can also go to the beach of the Peninsula Hotel, it is concrete, there is a descent into the water, sunbeds and umbrellas. A little further is the sandy beach of the Sea Side Hotel, there are taverns and shops, sunbeds are also free. There is also a large city beach on the promenade in Agia Pelagia. , But it’s far to go through very rough terrain. The city beach is located behind the cape, where the Kapsis hotel, but you can’t walk along the coast by the sea.
