We rested not for the first year abroad, this year we decided to go to Greece. The choice fell on the island of Crete, Gouves, hotel Clio. One of the huge pluses is that we never got to the hotel so quickly. We got there in just 15 minutes. The girls didn’t even have time to listen to the transfer, but she told so interestingly. Upon arrival, we were met by a hotel guide, held at the reception, which was closed. They explained to us that after 15:00 the reception is closed, that you need to contact the tall young man Rimmi, who is at the bar after 18:00. Therefore, it is very good that the girl met us, called Rimmi, translated everything and told. We were given a room, we could go to dinner at 7 o'clock, and the official settlement was the next day. Every day the hotel has a Russian-speaking reception (except Tuesday). The hotel is very basic. There is no air conditioning in the hotel lobby, so it was stuffy.
The studio rooms looked small. The apartments are spacious, clean and comfortable. There were no problems with cleaning, the hotel was clean. The food is good, the choice is sufficient, tasty. For breakfast, sausage, cheese, olives, yogurt, pastries, eggs, sometimes bacon, tomatoes, cucumbers. Meat, vegetables appear for lunch and dinner, sometimes there were some pizza evenings (3 types of pizza each). Drinks even on the half board system are free. But those that are in the buffet during the restaurant. Alcoholic and in the bar all for a surcharge. By the way, on our last day we were fed both breakfast and dinner (we were given a voucher for food). The hotel is small, unpretentious, the hotel has excellent staff, close to the sea, and shops, free air conditioning (because we were from Mouzenidis). In general, we liked everything, there are no complaints, the staff is just fabulous, it compensates for any shortcomings of the hotel.
