Were in the hotel "Mediterraneo" 4 * in June 2012. As a tourist without any special whims and adequate, I want to share my impressions about this hotel. In general, not bad. And in particular: 1. Hotel. Placed immediately subject to availability. Neat clean hulls. Furnishings in standard rooms are minimal. Not very new, but quite decent. As they say, it's good for spending the night. The audience is mainly from Germans, English-speaking cultures and fellow Slavs (such as Yugoslavs, Serbs, Poles, etc. ). There are relatively few Russians. Service. They are cleaned every day, but somehow painfully selective: today they will wash the floor, and tomorrow they will forget, today they will sweep sand from the corners, and tomorrow they will forget, according to what principles the trash can was taken out - a mystery. Hoping for a constant replenishment of shampoo, soap and gel in the bathroom is not worth it. Change of bed linen - once per arrival. Changing towels is another story. Of the 11 days of our stay, the daily change took place on the first 3 days, which we were very pleased with. But for the next 3 days, the replacement mechanism for some reason broke down. After our more than transparent hint in the form of a mountain of towels in the center of the room on the floor, the mechanism started working again. But the sediment remained... 3. Nutrition. Reading earlier reviews about hotels in Turkey, I always giggled in those places where they complained about the lack of MEAT in restaurants. So this one is piled up here. Mostly pork, but also chicken, rabbit, turkey and, less often, beef. And everything is cooked perfectly, like at home. Little greenery. Fruit, oddly enough, is also small. Mostly watermelon and melon. Resourceful tourists made up for the lack of fruit by peeling apricots, peaches and nectarines (and not quite ripe yet) from the trees on the territory of the hotel. It was expected that there would be at least "a lot" of seafood, but it turned out to be very scarce: the fish was daily, but monotonous. And a couple of times they cooked squid and octopus in batter. 4. Sea. The sea itself is great. Clean, not very cold. The beach and bottom are sandy. Umbrellas and sun loungers are paid. Sunbed - 3 euros, umbrella - 2 euros. But if you want to save money, then no one will forbid you to sunbathe with your umbrella and towel. Umbrellas can be bought either in the hotel shop or in the city for 7-10 euros. Stressful road to the beach. You have to walk along the side of the road. Sidewalks are a problem. 5. Pools. On the territory of 2 pools. From this year, another small pool with slides began to operate. Sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool are free. Towels can be borrowed at the reception for a deposit of 10 euros. You hand over the towel - you get back 10 euros. In the heat, the pools get very warm, so at the height of the day the water in them is not at all refreshing. 6. Animation. Animation in the form in which we are used to receiving it in Turkey is not here. In the evenings, and even then not every evening, guest groups perform, but there is practically no contact with the audience. Until one of our compatriots with a wide open soul takes the initiative. During the day, no one is engaged in tourists at all. 7. Excursions. It is better to take from tourist companies located in the town. Prices are 2 times lower than those of hotel guides. There are promotions, such as for 2 excursions, the third sightseeing tour of the island or a trip to the water park - for free. Groups recruit by language. Russians, respectively, are given a Russian guide. 8. Prices. In general, the prices in terms of our tugriks are absolutely the same as ours. If you need something from the daily necessities (cream, water, slates, a scarf, etc. ), then you can not go to the city in the hope of a lower price. The farther from the hotel, oddly enough, the higher the prices. For example, we found only 1 store where the prices for everything were lower than in the hotel.
