Vacationing with my husband. Excellent location, close to the airport, very close within walking distance of the village of Stalida. A very large area. there is where to walk, while there are many trees and flowers, everything is clean and well-groomed. Two beaches. Sandy with shallow sea, blue flag, free sunbeds and umbrellas, two beach bars. But I liked the second beach more, this is where there are small areas with sunbeds and umbrellas, and the descent into the sea along the ladders. It is quiet and there is no fuss, though the bar is a little further away. Towels are given as a deposit, they are changed at the Veranda bar (next to it there is a large swimming pool). The Athena restaurant is the main one, everything is delicious and there is a lot of everything. Meat, fish, side dishes, salads, desserts, drinks, the only thing I would like more is seafood. Although the hotel has a special fish restaurant, it is simply superb. I also liked the Italian Grande Forno, but we didn’t go to the Greek one. Rented a car, the hotel has a rental. We watched the main sights of the island (the Palace of Knossos simply stunned with its scope), got to know people. Before that, we were in Corfu, Crete is not so green in comparison with it, only the sea and mountains, but there is some special charm in it. And how hospitable the Cretans are! In any tavern you feel at home, you feel that you are really welcome.
