We rested at the end of May-beginning of June 2009. I liked it very much. The best (and most expensive) hotel in Malia. Nearby hotels HIGH BEACH, MALIA BEACH (they have rather small beaches). Good entry into the sea. The widest and longest beach in Malia. Sunbeds by the sea for free. The beach is very free, there is no crowding. There were always plenty of sun loungers. Good food. Excellent, large, beautiful, equipped area. Friendly staff, there is no "discrimination" of Russians. There are no "reservations" for Russians. All rooms in the main building are the same. Most of the rooms in the main. building overlooking the sea. There are also bungalows and SIRENS VILLAGE, where the rooms are slightly larger than in the main building and more expensive. The Village was mostly inhabited by Italians. The "garden view" from the Village room is not great, while the "garden view" from the main building is quite good (palms, mountains). The hotel is located in Malia. This is a small resort, full of bars, discos, shops within walking distance from the hotel. Not far from the hotel (about 30 minutes on foot, the guide will tell you) there is an ancient ruins-museum. Among the shortcomings: the staff does not speak Russian, only German and English. You can say no animation, but what is - in German. No baths, no children's slides. The contingent is mostly elderly Germans.
