Hello everyone, we have arrived from Crete for a couple of days, and I would like to share my impressions after the rest. In general, I liked everything very, very much, when compared with Turkey and Egypt, then Greece is the golden mean! I was with my husband and two children (3 and 6), and everyone liked Greece: the sea is magical, the weather is sunny, the locals are very friendly, the cuisine (especially sweets) is excellent... The hotel also pleased us, although there were also small nuances, but they were so insignificant that it didn’t spoil our vacation at all - it’s an old and weak air conditioner in the room, the lack of soap and shower gel (not provided by the hotel) and paid towels by the pool and sunbeds by the sea.
We drove from the airport to the hotel in 10 minutes and in 5 minutes we were settled in a room) an hour later we were already waiting for a wonderful buffet and very nice staff. The sea was warm and very beautiful, with a sandy beach and quite shallow near the shore, which made the children especially happy) In the evening, I advise you to go for a walk in the city, in the rays of sunset, its narrow green streets look especially romantic. Be sure to stop by a local cafe and try ice cream and other sweets! Delicious! The prices will also please you, they do not differ in any way from ours, although the quality is incomparable.
