Stayed in this hotel in June with a friend. It's a normal trio. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, were surprised that we were fed breakfast. The room was ready by 11:00, although the check-in time is from 15:00. We booked an economy room with a view of the road, but to our surprise, they gave us a room with a view of the pool for free, we were extremely happy about this. The room is neat, small, cleaned to the conscience. Air conditioning here is paid 50 € per week, or 10 € per day. Safe €3 per day but we didn't use it. Wi-fi is good at the reception, but not in the rooms, only for an extra charge of 5 € per day. The pool is small, there are enough sunbeds, there are also all sorts of inflatable circles that you can take for free and swim with them. There weren't many kids, and they didn't make much noise.
Meals were taken only for breakfast and dinner. You could sometimes change dinner for lunch. The restaurant is small with little variety. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, vegetables, cheese, sausage, yogurt, jam, pastries, sausages, bacon, breakfast cereals, coffee, tea, juices. At dinner - vegetables, salads, pasta, potatoes, fried fish, stewed vegetables, drinks for an additional fee at the bar (water is poured for free, coffee around 3 €). In order not to drag packs of water from the supermarket, we bought a pack of water at the reception for 2€. Supermarket Chalkiadakis is a 5-minute walk from the hotel. The prices there are reasonable, the locals also stock up there, the choice is good, almost everything you need is there. To the embankment 7 min. to go, you need to go along it and look for sandy pieces, because there are stones everywhere. If you walk 20 minutes to the left along the promenade there is a nice sandy beach of the Creta Maris hotel.
The hotel has a tour guide Yana from Mouzenidis Travel. She met us upon arrival, helped with the check-in, told us in full information about the island, and guided us according to the excursion program. She bought an excursion to the island-reserve of Chrissi and the Cretan evening. On Chrissi we had a full rest on the beach and got a good tan, and on the Cretan evening we danced heartily and tried Greek cuisine. The lamb in the evening was excellent! I liked the organization of excursions, everything is clear, well-coordinated, the guides tell a very exciting story and know a lot of interesting things. I think that this is not our last trip to Crete. We wish the Agrabella Hotel prosperity and a good season. Our vacation was a success, thank you!
