Now, when a month has passed after the rest, I will say that the hotel is still good.
At first there was a small negative:
- the room turned out to be on a "new" territory, upstairs from the reception and there, under the windows, electric cars constantly drove either with luggage, or with linen, and even with some household items. ) apartments, we were told that they are only in this building. The air conditioner did not work even after June 10, we reported to the reception, the uncle came, twisted something, said that it would work in five minutes, but it didn’t work... We slept with the windows open and listened to the sound of the sea (there was a storm), but birds singing in the morning.

The drain from the bath was leaking and the water flowed out even into the corridor. Again, they called the reception, another uncle came, twisted something, left, saying that everything would be OK, and the drain worked just as poorly. They called us from the reception, asked how the drain was, we said that it was the same, they asked us, politely, like, you know how to use the curtain and the shower at the same time... Well, in general, we somehow didn’t ask for anything else, it’s humid it was with the air conditioner not working, but nothing, we didn’t visit the room very often. Maybe our number was unlucky (1354). Yes, there, in order to open the shutter, it was necessary to jump up and lift it, otherwise there was a terrible rattle...
- food was expected to be more "fishy" or something, Mediterranean. , though there was fish every day, but I wanted it to be varied. But in general, everything was of high quality. Lots of meat and grilled and stewed. Everything is very fresh. There are no porridges and soups, some kind of scary omelette. I was surprised that in the hotel, where a lot of things are thought out to the smallest detail, there are no poachers - well, how can you eat soft-boiled eggs without them? We then, having understood, dined in a cafe near the tennis tables.
There is a tavern nearby and apparently they have a common kitchen - that's where the soups were normal, even the children ate them. The rest is right simpler than in the main restaurant, but everything is delicious.
- and of course, the entrance to the sea... Yes, everyone knew, they took slippers, found those cherished places to enter... But anyway, when it was stormy, we went to the bay to a wild beach, through two neighboring hotels. There, by the way, the mountain surrounding the bay was made of some kind of healing clay, the children collected, soaked in the sea and sculpted all sorts of miracles. I smeared my hands in it a couple of times - the most delicate steel...

Now I understand that the negative is a trifle compared to the general impression of the hotel and Crete - amazing friendliness, calmness, measured and carefree rest. There was never any dissatisfaction in response to all our requests and appeals, even if not everything was resolved, but the impressions remained only positive. Everyone is very nice - and the reception, and in the restaurants-cafes. And the animators - uffff! Well, they wrote about it, but really, I saw such a team for the first time. We were in Turkey, Egypt, Spain. At the same time, my husband and I did not participate in daytime sports animation, but the guys were constantly everywhere. My daughter went to the kids club with pleasure several times and was delighted with Monta, Valentina. They even managed to interest a not very sociable little one. He used to go to kids clubs. Well, the evening discos and especially the games after the disco are so incendiary and interesting that even children of 10-12 years old, like our daughter, went there, and a lot!
The shows are terribly funny, though there were a couple of very vulgar moments (especially the show is either "Liza", or "Minelli", where they are dressed as musicians... you shouldn't take children to it, many left it... ). But the fire show - people from all the surrounding hotels come to it. Professional work, powerful. In Turkey, a special team was invited to this. Well done!! ! Mateo, Alex, Lele. The DJ sounded amazing. I don't remember the names of the girls. . Thanks to all the staff and animators!
Yes, the slide there is very worthy - I kept waiting for the children to get bored - they didn’t. True, not all days were - then excursions, then my son fell ill.
Excursions:
- Knossos - well, especially my daughter studied the history of Greece this year, she knew a lot about Minos, she read myths - so she climbed through the ruins with pleasure.
- The Cave of Zeus is somehow dumb, at first a creepy serpentine on a bus, then even more creepy and exhausting up the mountain, in the heat up (Children on donkeys, the son would not have reached himself, far and hard. And you jump between donkeys, as if they they didn’t fall off the serpentine, although there are drovers there, but donkeys, that is, donkeys. We climbed up the mountain and now into a dark, cold, damp (children definitely need sweatshirts) cave sharply down the narrow, slippery steps, with the whole crowd one at a time... but they are still photographed....No stalogmites-stalogmites are no longer needed (lighting bad, everything is grey). You drag a child by the handle, your legs are shaking, horror....In general, we regretted that we went there.
-the nearest water park -went by taxi. Have a great day! There are many slides and pools for all ages. There is a water park further away, it is bigger. It's a pity we didn't go, the kid got sick.
