This hotel is fully consistent with its 4 *, after the fives of Turkey-Alania and Egypt, it is better to go here... If you don’t find fault with the little things, we liked everything: the staff is friendly, the room is cleaned every day, the food is normal (grilled pork, grilled rabbit, knuckle, grilled chicken, fish, normal salads, pastas, etc. . . ), very tasty sweets (better than Turkey and Egypt), a selection of fruits, there are many tables for small children in the restaurant, separate baby food and a place for children - with plasma / cartoons, there were always enough sunbeds on the beach and near the pool, the territory is clean, the children's slide is open all the time and not by the hour, in the evening there is no queue in the lobby bar, WiFa works fine, drinks (beer, wine, UPI juices, cola, etc. ) . d. ) pour yourself taps - self-service, which is very convenient (I didn’t see a single bruise / alkonauts swollen - in Turkey there were always enough of these beauties for bars), coffee-coffee makers, calmly come pour, the beach, as for me, is one of the best in Crete (there is something to compare with, we ran in ol islands, drove to the wild ones along the road) a wide strip, there are few stones in the water, a bar is nearby, the hotel is well located - not far from the city and in the center of the island for excursions, what you need, the airport is not far... etc....
There are also disadvantages (they are almost invisible and do not spoil the mood):
1. Animators are real Downs, mostly Italians, with stupid jokes understandable only to them (they make a debility face-yelling-and laughing himself), competitions during the day are weak, in their opinion the coolest - in the pool who will throw their slippers further with their foot....

2. It is not entirely clear how the rooms are distributed, there is a feeling that they are trying to push the Russians / Ukrainians further, although it is clear that the hotel is not 100% full, and it is almost useless to argue (in Turkey I gave 50 USD and the issue is resolved, here it is did not pass, they asked for an additional payment of 50 euros per day)....
3. Drinks, of course, leave much to be desired (although we had plenty of our own after Dutik . . ), there are no questions about beer and cocktails - more or less...
4. A trip to the tavern on the territory of the hotel - like "lacard" local: except for the singer, there is nothing to watch / listen to, the food, for me, is worse than in the main restaurant, the waiters did not speak Russian (or mowed down like a stupid . . )...
Local taverns are a separate issue: I recommend not to listen to what the guide-setup advises, choose for yourself and not chase cheap prices (although everything is not expensive in them anyway) choose more or less outwardly decent and with a good choice on the menu... By our experience should not be chosen somewhere in the villages on the highway (we wanted local flavor), in short, bypass the "handels", portions in taverns are really large, one salad can be divided by our standards for 3-4 people, always something simple treated - grapes, ice cream, 100-200 gr. crayfish-chacha, etc. .
In short, you can safely go to this hotel, we liked it...
