When we planned the trip, we thought that the hotel was not very large in size. In fact, it turned out quite the opposite, it is huge. A very interesting and incredibly beautiful area, which houses two-story cottages, all in pastel pleasant colors, divided into groups, there are several cottages with a pool, there are even beaches that not all vacationers know about. The hotel is close to the airport, we drove for 20 minutes, and from the city in 10 minutes, very convenient with children. The hotel is located on a hill, in a very picturesque place, with ladders and alleys, to whom this is important, it is worth considering. But that's not important. The hotel is perfect in every way. Service, food and rooms are all in perfect condition and well thought out. I would especially like to highlight the excellent service, we do not encounter such quality and service as often as we would like, but everything is fine at the Knossos Royal Hotel. With almost full workload, we were recognized every day, and all our preferences were accurately remembered with a table in restaurants, drinks at the bar, and almost all the staff that they encountered on a daily basis remembered us and the children by name! The number of rooms has been renovated. Booked a vip bungalow and it's great! We had access to the saltwater pool, these rooms are the closest to the sea. Additionally, in the room upon check-in and subsequently, in addition to the bar, there were flowers and fruits, a mini-bar with soft drinks, Aldemar VIP shower accessories and bathrobes. In general, the room is beautiful, spacious, and with excellent cleaning. Upon check-in, a bottle of wine was waiting for us, very tasty)). You can talk about food at the hotel for a long time, but then my entire review will consist of a list of dishes)). One can only say that there were a lot of fish meat dishes, seafood, fruits, olives I love in any version, a lot of cheeses and other goodies, sweets. 4 restaurants: main restaurant, Fontana gourmet restaurant, Artemis tavern, restaurant-bar on the beach. There are also 3 great bars, most of all we liked Kafeneio, more like a cafe in the Greek style. There is even a children's restaurant Aldy, and a restaurant on the beach. Of all the restaurants, of course the best is Fontana, with live music and superb sea views. . Also for us, according to the All Inclusive system in the water sports center, it was possible to ride a catamaran and a canoe for free, there are boards for windsurfers, but only with certificates. We had breakfast at a restaurant on the beach, and our beautiful day always began with this. For children there is the Aldy club, this is a specially equipped area with its own pools, slides, swings and fountains, pirate ships. There are also tables with sweets, ice cream and juices. The entire children's program is very intense, children simply will not be pulled out of the club. The sea at the hotel is clear, the beaches are clean, but in some places shoes are desirable, although we did not use them, we even liked a light foot massage on smooth pebbles. We are just happy, especially the children, that we got to this hotel on our first trip to this wonderful country, wait for us again!
