DETAILED FEEDBACK
They rested from 10.07. 2023 to 19.07. 2023 with his wife and 11-year-old son
Settlement. We arrived at the airport of Heraklion around 09.10, an individual transfer (45 euros) to the hotel took about 25 minutes, we arrived quickly and comfortably, the transfer and later excursions, we, on the advice of the tour agent, ordered from Victoria (+306975844310). Check-in vouchers were presented at the reception, a standard form was filled out, we were given a hotel map, a WI-FI password (it works perfectly throughout the hotel), we were offered to have breakfast and arrive at 1400 (the standard hotel check-in time), all this took about 5-6 minutes. We had breakfast, changed in the toilet at the entrance to the main restaurant, left our things at the entrance in the lobby and went to explore the hotel. In a couple of hours, we went around most of the hotel and had time to swim in the sea and the pool. At 1:00 p. m. , I went to the reception desk to ask if the room was ready, the room was ready, I paid the hotel fee of 36 euros and we were taken to the room by buggy.

Room, cleaning. We had a STANDARD GARDEN VIEW room (112), a spacious, bright room with a veranda and a really nice view of the garden. The room has a double bed, actually made of 2 beds and a folding chair on which my son slept (new bed linen, although not 100% cotton), more than enough furniture for things, a refrigerator, a safe, a TV, a tea corner - a kettle, cups for tea, for coffee, glasses for brandy and glasses for water, coffee, tea, sugar, cream, there was even a capsule coffee machine, without capsules))). There is a sufficient number of sockets in the room, which is important (we have 3 phones, a laptop, a tablet, an e-book, watches), anyone who has been to Egyptian hotels will understand. In the bathroom there is a hair dryer, new towels, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, ZEALOTS OF NATURE body milk, to be honest, it doesn't mean anything to me))), but the women say that it is a good brand, not a hostile one. The room also had slippers (3 pairs), a sewing kit (needles, buttons, threads), a shower cap and a small hair band.
Three beach towels were also in the room. They also give a one-time bottle of water, a small bottle of brandy and a small package of almond nuts. At first glance, an impeccable number. The first time we were unpleasantly surprised when we wanted to find the broadcast of the Wimbledon tennis tournament on TV, but in vain, there seem to be a lot of channels, but(((… This is strange, because hardly anyone goes on a sea vacation to watch TV series or cooking shows, as a rule, they watch news, some music channels and iconic sports events, such as the Olympic Games, World Cup or European football, WC, Formula 1, title boxing fights or, as in our case, the Big Tennis Tournament. WI-FI works well - we found it and watched it online. The TV was no longer turned on. The second trouble awaited us later - the child likes to take a bath and when in the evening, after the bath procedures, he opened the bathroom drain, water began to flow from the spigot onto the floor.
Most likely, over the years (the hotel is not new), the pipes have become overgrown, and now the diameter and, as a result, the capacity of the pipes have become much smaller, and since the water level in the bathroom is higher, then, according to the law of connected vessels, the water goes to the floor. We just almost covered the drain, left a gap of about 20%, the water drained slowly (well, we are in no rush))) but the bathroom floor remained dry. That is, we solved our problems, we did not turn to anyone. They cleaned every day, usually before 14:00 - 14:30, they cleaned, not bad, they forgot to refill the shower products - they told the reception - they refilled
Territory, beach, swimming pools. The hotel is a cozy complex of 2-story bungalow cottages. I love this concept.

The territory of the hotel is large (just walking around the hotel during the day, you walk more than 10.000 steps a day), well-kept, beautiful, a lot of greenery (greenery is mostly bushes, flower beds, palm trees, and there are few deciduous trees that provide shade, this is similar to hotels in Egypt). The territory has everything you need for a complete rest - restaurants (main + 5 more), bars (Main, Pool, Beach, Mylos), coffee shop, mini golf, tennis courts (covering - artificial grass), kids club, water entertainment, game room and billiard tables, a professional photographer works. Opposite the reception desk are the guest relation and car rent desks (the price is as agreed, there is no iron sheet). There is also free parking.
The beach is its own, big, wonderful beach with sunbeds and umbrellas (you can always find free ones without problems), small pebbles under your feet, not big sand, as some write, but pebbles, but not like in Kemer or Montenegro, you can walk (it’s like a foot massage), the entrance to the sea is a stone slab, of natural origin, covered with algae, not perfectly flat, but I don’t see any problems for entering the water, for those who swim it is 100%, well, for very I recommend corals for delicate legs. The lifeguard works from 10:00 a. m. to 6:00 p. m. , when he is not there, a red flag with the inscription NO LIFE GUARD is raised, which does not prevent people from swimming. The north or northwest wind blows quite often (4 times out of 9 days), then a red flag is raised and the lifeguard does not allow swimming.
If you want to swim in the sea even in the wind, you can do it from the platform that overlooks the Hersonessos Bay, it is easy to get there - walk along the beach from the main entrance to the beach to the right, i. e. to the east, walk the entire beach and follow the uneven path to the chapel (on the hotel map it is marked as St. George’s Chapel), then from the chapel there is a path down to a concrete platform paved with stones. This bay is sheltered from the wind and is convenient for swimming. The platform can be slippery, be careful; do not jump into the water, the platform is no more than a meter deep, carefully descend the slabs, the entrance is not very convenient (someone removed the ladder for entering the water that was there from the beginning, besides, there are sea urchins on the stones), it is better to do it in corals or crocs. There is no savior on the platform.
The view of the bay and Hersonissos is simply wonderful, boats, yachts, excursion boats (under a caravel) on which loud music is playing are constantly entering the bay, tourists jump into the water cheerfully and loudly from those watercraft, it must be good to warm up, tourists. You can also get to the chapel if you go out of the main gate onto the road and turn left and go straight until you see the chapel, you can get to the same road from the hotel grounds through the shop-workshop of silver jewelry, right next to the shop and the coffee shop.

For those who do not want such complications, the hotel has swimming pools with sea water, there are many swimming pools on the territory, but there are 2 of them for public use: the first (large) is right in front of the main building, exit from the lobby, the second (small) level below. There is also a children's pool, for very small children - it is located near the beach, quite far from the main pools.
From the point of view of hotel management, the schedule is very effective - people will change towels less, consumption of water and detergents will be less...(for example, we changed 5 times in 9 days). You can wash yourself with fresh water both on the beach and at the pools, there are taps for washing your feet.
Food, restaurants. We had HB type food (breakfast, dinner), believe me, it is enough. We ate in the main restaurant, we did not go to the others, by the way, the restaurant has a wonderful view of the sea. Breakfast is standard: fried, boiled eggs, omelet, poached, bacon, sausages, sliced cheeses and sausages, yogurts, vegetables, fruits (apples, bananas, grapes, watermelons, melons, cherries, kiwi, peaches, nectarines), pancakes, croissants, honey, nutella, jams for them. Coffee or tea is poured from teapots by waiters, drinks such as juices from the machine can be poured yourself, there were no sodas. There are also two water coolers in the main restaurant, and another cooler in the main bar. The restaurant opens at 07.
00 but you can actually eat something somewhere from 07.10-07.15 as they are just starting to bring out dishes, fry eggs and pancakes. Fewest people in the restaurant from 07.00 to 08.00, from 08.00 to 09.00 more and from 09.00 to 10.00 - full house. Dinner - a pretty girl meets you at the entrance, reports on the radio to one of the managers in the hall and he escorts you to the table, at the same time asking if you are satisfied with the place he offered. One of the waiters immediately appears and asks what you will drink, according to the HB system, all drinks at dinner, including water, are paid - you need to either accept it, or take All inclusive, or do not order anything to drink at all. You can list the dishes for quite a long time - there are veal and pork, lamb or lamb, rabbit, duck, various fish (we had smoked salmon a couple of times), every day something from seafood - squid, shrimp, octopus, cuttlefish. One day there were even snails! Tried chili con carne for the first time - very tasty. Very tasty desserts and a large selection.

I didn't really like the ice cream (there are 4 or 5 different ones), but we had it in a cafe in Rethymno and in Agios Nikolaos - it was also the same. Here I even saw such dishes as pancakes with spinach and a cutlet made of zucchini and Chinese cabbage, of course I will not eat such things, but the fact itself!! ! Everything is very tasty - respect to the chef and the entire team of cooks! I would like to note the impeccable organization (imagine this is the peak of the season, the hotel is 100% full), there are no queues anywhere, and there are enough dishes and utensils! Excellent management, excellent work of the entire restaurant team!!!
Services.
Receptionist work - flawless, contacted 3 times, 1 - asked for the bus schedule (directly from the main building you can go to Chersonesos, Heraklion, Agios Nikolaos) - they gave a printed schedule, 2 - said to deliver shampoos and shower gels - everything happened on the same day, 3 - asked to print boarding passes for the plane (our tour agent warned that electronic tickets are not valid at the Heraklion airport ((( - question a couple of minutes. Cleaning in the room is good, no complaints.
Animation - I can’t objectively evaluate their work (the fact is that we don’t really need it), but I saw that the team was cheerful, energetic, I watched aqua aerobics in the pool a couple of times, my wife even went a couple of times))), went to the evening show in the amphitheater 3 times, and once I even liked it - the angel and demon teams guessed songs (like guess the melody), and the girl in the form of a demon was much prettier than an angel, that’s all as in life, the team of demons in the rest won))). I can't help but remember the live music in the main bar in the evening - one day a girl (on guitar) and a boy played such soulful country blues, another day - a saxophonist was playing, I saw a girl playing the electric violin. Liked it a lot. Guest Relation - no rating, did not apply. I think that it is necessary to highlight the work of such people, whom the vast majority do not notice (it is hard work) - gardeners, cleaners, laundry - respect, the hotel is in almost perfect condition.

Around the hotel. There are not so many things near the hotel, if you leave the main gate, turn right and walk 200 meters, there is a shop (resort prices - juice 1 liter - 1.8 - 2.0 euros, cola 2 liters - 2.20 euros, Pringles - 3.50 euros), there are souvenirs, wine, other alcohol, etc. Next to the shop there is a travel agency - excursions, a cafe bar. If you go in the direction of Hersonissos (it’s about 3 km to go there, as it’s hot for me, it’s such a pleasure, but people go) somewhere 150 meters away you can see the Saradari restaurant, we didn’t go there, but I read somewhere that they praise it. That's all. But there are buses, taxis, car rental...
Different. There are a few wishes, not comments. 1.
We are very satisfied with the organization and the guide Yelena, even our child, who usually does not like these excursions. Excursions were taken through Victoria, the contact at the beginning of the review.
Finally, the main criterion in evaluating the hotel is whether you would come to it again and would you recommend this hotel to friends and acquaintances - to both questions - DEFINITELY YES.
