Traveled with my wife. Pegasus sent us for the umpteenth time (verses straight). Somewhat unusually, the absence of a guide on departure - and so there are no problems. All clear enough.
1. About the race.
WITHOUT problems and quickly settled in a two-room suite with a sea view, for which, in fact, they paid. The view is awesome (a lonely rock standing 50 meters from the shore), the sea is under your feet, the surf is making noise - class! For some reason, they asked if we were newlyweds, defining our condition as "fresh-mery": )) Of course, fresh, we answered: )))
We checked in at 3 am, at 4 o'clock we wanted to eat - we were fed cold snacks in the restaurant.
2. Number.
Two rooms, basic, nothing special. Excellent soundproofing from the sea. The window and the huge balcony door did not let in sounds even in a storm. From the side of the door, from the corridor, of course, you can hear everything. The door is thin. Kettle, tea, coffee, sugar, cream in the room. The bar is replenished strictly every two days.
There is one channel tuned on TV - the 1st in Russian. Time is German.
Cleaning that for 1 euro, put on the bed, that without - is always the same, every day. Change of linen is regular. Things are not touched at all. If there are panties on the floor, it means that they lie there even after cleaning: ) Place shoes as much as possible. Towels are changed every two days. And they don’t count (for lovers of souvenirs). One evening I counted 7 towels in the room + two beach towels : )
The room has a free safe, telephone, gels, soap, caps, etc. in the bathroom. On the balcony there is a table, two chairs, a hanger for drying bathing accessories. The floor is tiled throughout. The lighting is poor - in the evening it is romantic twilight, it is not convenient to shave in the bathroom because of this : ))
3. Staff.
Very friendly staff at every level. There is NO, I emphasize, NO separation on a national basis, although the hotel is German. The British and Germans and Bosnians and Russians and Ukrainians and the Balts and Poles rest there ....
Treat EVERYONE equally. At the reception there is a Russian girl Anastasia. The rest in Russian maximum "thank you, please. " I note that at the beginning of our holiday, we filled out a questionnaire ...like a questionnaire, everyone filled out, and so did we. We wrote that it would be nice to teach the staff a few Russian words. In the evening of the next day, EVERYONE was already trying to greet Russians in Russian: ) Well, they improved further.
4. Hotel.
The hotel is beautiful - perhaps the most beautiful of those that stand around. They looked at him from afar, both during the day and in the dark. Two large pools with bars, the upper one is a grill bar. We went there for lunch - you don't overeat like that : )) Right there the bartender makes an excellent cappuccino, the best in the hotel. The upper pool is for children, there is a small part. The lower pool is normal, the water in both is cool. There are always enough beds.
The hotel stands on a slope, many stairs, sloping roads. In fact, all rooms have sea views, but from different angles.
There are duplex rooms. Rooms with pools are ambiguous....below us was the 80th room, on the balcony of which there was a pool, but the sun is there until a maximum of 11 am...There are several rooms with access to their pool, separate...but there is sometimes no -no, yes, it smells like sewage treatment plants, which is noticeable if you go to the beach along the path.
The hotel has an elevator to the beach. The beach is municipal, sunbeds cost 2 euros per day. Who and when collects this money is unclear. We never paid. They say. that some people pass at 11 o'clock. We have not seen. The beach is pebbly, it is rather unpleasant for bare feet. The sea is the cleanest when it is calm - various fish swim around. Under the feet in the sea - round stones. The result - the sea for a triple with a plus.
The hotel has a shop. And a few on the beach. Prices are slightly higher than in the village next door. The village is 30 minutes walk if you know the serpentine road. Olive oil and silver are cheaper in the village. Prices for souvenirs are about the same everywhere.
5. Restaurant.
Nothing like that, the usual restaurant of the Egyptian 5-ki. The food is also normal. You can make 3-4 breakfasts and vary depending on the day. There could have been more fish. This is perhaps the only negative. I didn't see empty trays - they are constantly replenished. In the morning freshly squeezed orange juice and fresh watermelon juice. In the evening wine - red or white without restrictions. The quality is very acceptable. Not Santorini, of course, but not the sourness of the "Cretan evening".
The waiters quickly clear the empty plates. In the evening, sweets are different in large quantities. In fact, I did not find any differences from the German hotels of Egypt. The same solid European classic for vacationers.
There are two restaurants where you can eat for money. Served not in the main restaurant, but prepared separately. Wine for a fee. In one of the restaurants, having booked in advance, you can eat once for free. There is nothing outstanding there. Tasty and all.
If you want outstanding - eat in a cafe.
Little things:
In the bar at the lower pool all inclusive until 23 hours. If you are 1 minute late, you risk buying cocktails for money. For reference: I paid 17 euros for two cocktails: majito and tequila sunrise, at 23-02...
If you do not indicate in the main bar in the evening that you need a small stack of raki or metaxa, then you risk getting 100 gr. of these drinks in a glass : )
There is no animation. Quiet in the evening. Yes, and during the day, too, in fact. If you are going to have fun, this is not the place for you. The city is far away, about 20 km by road, the price of solving the issue with a taxi is 1 euro per kilometer.
Crayfish really helps from all sorts of ailments - the feeling of gluttony and the consequences of motion sickness on a bus along serpentines.
A car for rent OUTSIDE of the hotel is two times cheaper than at the hotel, but it is not clear what is there with insurance. The guides offer FULL insurance, I understand that you can hit the car against the wall and not pay a dime for it.
But correspondingly, twice as expensive. Car class - any. From a small Daewoo to a powerful convertible gelding. There are scooters, Chinese quadrics and motorcycles.
