Traveled with a boyfriend in June 2013. We wanted to be cheaper, so that we could visit more excursions and be sure to 5 *. Kassandra Palace met our requirements. The hotel has its pros and cons. I'll start in order. Cons - the entrance to the sea - stones, but 200 meters to the side - and the entry is normal. And the 2nd minus - for us - is that - a family hotel, calm... children expanse, in general, not party-friendly for young people - or with their own company... Of course, the hotel is more drawn to 4 stars. But I will be offended here only at myself - I chose it myself. But for such money - in general, everything is class! Now about the pros - good service, large green area, comfortable rooms, close to the beach, the sand on the beach is cool. The hotel is quiet, in the evenings there is only live music. The staff is friendly, no one fawns, they don't ask for tips, the Greeks differ from the Turks for the better - calm, sincere, friendly.
From the hotel you can easily go in any direction, either to Thessaloniki or to the end of Kassandra, there is also something to see there. Stop within walking distance of the hotel. If you wish, you can take a taxi, but it is expensive here. Rent a car too, from about 50 euros per day. You can rent a car directly at the hotel with a guide. We went to Meteora, bought a cruise around Athos, "Greek Evening" - everything is super!
We enjoyed our holiday in Greece. next summer we want a hotel in Sithonia.
