In the summer, with a young man, we rested in Greece on the Kassandra Peninsula at the Aegean Melathron Hotel. We liked the location of the hotel. We got to it quickly, drove a little over an hour - it’s quite normal even for children (there were a lot of them on the bus, no one was capricious). At the reception we were already about one o'clock in the afternoon. We were given the keys to the room right away. By the way, I immediately draw your attention to the fact that they give only one key to the room! Even if you live in the same room as four! This is the first time I've encountered this - very strange for a hotel of this level. The room was spacious, beautiful and bright. There were no excesses. We were pleasantly surprised by the gift of the hotel. When we entered the room, there was already a bowl of fruit and a bottle of good tasty wine. The bathroom had a large and comfortable bath, we liked it, comfortable. Cleaning was done every day, towels and linen were also changed. The maid turned out to be a pleasant woman, the tip that we left always remained in place. Therefore, at the end of the vacation, having encountered her in the room, they simply gave her 10 euros in her hands and thanked her. This hotel has its own private beach. Its dimensions are impressive: about 200 meters wide and 20 meters wide. The beach is sandy, the sand is golden. Sun loungers and umbrellas for a fee, we were perfectly lit up lying on the sand. The sea is magnificent, the water is of amazing color and very, very clean. There is a water sports center on the beach, go water skiing - it's breathtaking! The territory of the hotel is huge, it houses the main building of the hotel and many bungalows, some of which have private pools. In addition, there are several more (either 8 or 9) separate large pools on the territory. The hotel area is large and very green. The food is simply amazing! We had breakfasts and dinners. The choice of dishes is amazing, the eyes just run up. Appreciated a wide selection of seafood both in appetizers and main courses. The hotel serves both European and Greek national cuisine. We were satisfied with the food, the portions were large and tasty, everything was cooked at home. From the excursions we took a sightseeing tour of Thessaloniki, and the next day we decided to rent a car and drive around Halkidiki ourselves. . We spent one day shopping, there are a lot of them in Thessaloniki, we also stopped by the Cosmos shopping center. We liked the nature of Greece unconditionally. Beautiful! We enjoyed our holiday and plan to come back here again.
