The hotel itself is wonderful, the service too, if not for the price. For breakfast, all drinks are free, including you can take as much freshly squeezed orange juice as you like, but in the evening the situation is different, all drinks are paid, and prices are going through the roof. If only a bottle of sparkling water costs 4 euros, then what can we say about wine.
They found an alternative, maybe not very attractive, but at the end of dinner they ate watermelon and did not want to drink.
Water was bought outside the hotel, 1l = 80 cents.
I also want to say that if you leave the hotel and go to the left, you will find the Roma Pizza pizzeria and two souvenir shops there. But it’s more expensive there than if you go to the right of the hotel and go to the Exotic Market souvenir shop, where we bought water. Yes, and the guy can say at least a couple of words in Russian, which is very pleased, otherwise it makes no sense to go for a walk without a minimum of English.

In a pizzeria, a meal for lunch for about two people turned out to be 15 euros, the menu included an average pizza ~ 10 euros + Amstel beer 0.5 ~ 3 euros.
You could also eat at the Dios seafood restaurant, it’s to go left from the hotel and walk for about 15 minutes. Personally, I tried grilled octopus there... it’s just a meal)) But it’s certainly a little expensive there, a portion of some kind of fish costs about 6-10 euros, but I want to say that the portions of the Greeks are always large, even if you take a serving of Greek salad , then count on 2. By the way, Dios also understands minimal Russian.
If you have a desire to buy some icons or trinkets related to the church, then I want to note that it’s better to take everything not in churches, but for example in the bazaar from Thessaloniki, everything is much cheaper there, which surprised me very much. The only thing is, if you want to take icons consecrated on Athos, then on the way to Meteora you will be taken to an icon shop, the only place where you can buy icons from Athos at normal prices. Well, in general, abnormal prices, I haven’t seen anywhere else cheaper, otherwise the smallest icon costs 100 euros.
Oh yeah, and about the beach. You know, an umbrella + 2 sun loungers for a day costs 10 euros. If you don't want to waste your money, there are two alternatives. 1 - sleep under the pine trees, not far from the beach, 2 - take sunbeds early near the freshwater pool, which is closest to the beach, walk not far to the beach. By the way, Russians and Ukrainians always hang out near this beach, although there will be an opportunity to get to know each other))
I would also like to note that there are no discos in the hotel, there are some musical evenings, which are always boring. The territory of the hotel is large, there are almost no people, you always wonder where they go, because there are a lot of them at dinner))
You can call a club car, but sometimes you really have to wait, especially during dinner.
In general, if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday - you are here. An ideal hotel for older people and couples.

and the last, if you want to surprise your relatives and friends, bring as a gift:
1. Pythagorean cup ~ 15 euros
2. honey (orange, flower and eucalyptus) medium jar ~ 5 euros
3. a bracelet from the monastery, each knot of which is woven with a prayer. If a bracelet is lost or a knot is torn, then there is a warning that something can happen to a person. ~ 3-5 euros
4. well, there are all sorts of magnets, plates, you can buy it everywhere. There are also interesting white figurines of gods, columns, temples with alabaster. Also interesting to look at.
And of course olive oil and olives. A large selection of olives at the market in Thessaloniki, and at the end of the holiday we found olive oil in duty free 1.4-6 euros, and took 6-8 euros in souvenir shops...
