I had a rest in this hotel in July 2008. The hotel is located in the small village of Kriopigi, in which there are shops, souvenir shops, cafes, etc. at every step. So there are no problems with that.
The beach is about 15-20 minutes down on foot or you can ride a train (for hotel guests, it's free). The train naturally picks up from the beach. Incidentally, he goes exactly on schedule every half hour. The driver is a very friendly mustachioed uncle. There is a cafe on the beach where you can have a bite to eat, buy ice cream and drinks. Sunbeds and umbrellas for a fee (I don’t know how much they cost, because we had our own bedding and that was enough for us). Near the pool there is a small type of tub or something - probably this is the jacuzzi indicated in the description, but we did not climb there.
The hotel has a swimming pool, but there is not enough space around it and there are not enough sunbeds for everyone. For some reason, at the end of our stay, they were only allowed to sunbathe on one side of the pool! True, you can go up to the terrace above the pool and sunbathe there. Near the pool bar with drinks, snacks, etc. In the evening, the sunbeds are removed and tables are placed around the pool. The bar is constantly yelling music in the morning and somewhere until 23-00, and all 2 weeks the same.

The rooms are quite basic but everything you need is there. We had a double bed with a canopy (for some reason), a dressing table, a couple of chairs, 2 bedside tables, TV, air conditioning. In the bathroom, the toilet and the shower, hung with a curtain, are all small. There were minor problems with the toilet - the water was not flushed well, so I had to use the toilets on the hotel territory, since they are everywhere: near the restaurant, and near the pool, etc. The air conditioner worked properly, though only when the balcony was closed. Slept with a closed balcony, because. mosquito darkness!!!! ! good thing we took a fumigator with us.
In principle, they fed well: breakfasts, as elsewhere, however, ham, cheese, toast, jams, eggs, omelettes, feta, vegetables. But for lunch and dinner there is more choice of course: several types of salad, meat, fish, soup for lunch. At lunch and dinner, you could take ice cream (3 types, it seems), there were also fruits (apples or oranges or nectarines or watermelons), or some kind of dessert, but this was always not enough - you had to try so that you had enough. Breakfast drinks are free.
The territory is small, there is also 1 small pool, but no one swam in it (in any case, I have never seen it).
The gym, souvenir shop, and tavern mentioned in the description never worked for the entire period! Maybe we were just unlucky?!
Right next to the hotel there is a mini-market with everything you need (even souvenirs, though a bit dusty), car rental, and a bus stop - there were absolutely no problems getting somewhere!
As for excursions - there are a lot of them for every taste and budget, we took them from our operator (Dioskuria tours). everything is well organized and thought out.
In general, Greece is a very beautiful country with a rich history. And it's worth going there again and again! I'm thinking about going there again this year. Even in the same hotel.
Have a nice rest and unforgettable impressions!
