The food is decent and quite varied: salads for breakfast, two types of omelets, scrambled eggs, 4 types of yogurt. There are also muesli, croissants, Nutella chocolate paste. Coffee is poured by the waiters, sometimes you have to wait a long time for them to pour coffee, they never offered coffee supplements.
We did not take lunches, because in the heat we do not really want to eat. We bought watermelons in the store, the price was ~22 rubles/kg. Dinner was usually very plentiful: 5-6 salads, 4-5 types of side dishes, meat, pasta, soup, often seafood such as mussels or squid. 5-6 types of desserts, watermelons and melons. Melons, I must say, as a rule, were not ripe, plums and apricots too. Everything else is top class. The chef himself goes out to the guests every dinner to find out if they like everything. Sometimes it was salty or overcooked, but apparently because drinks were ordered more actively.
There are queues at the entrance to the dining room if there are a lot of people inside. And there is usually a lot of it, especially if the weather is bad and it makes no sense to sit at the pool bar. Well, vacationers eat for a very long time - until you try everything, at least an hour passes.
Drinks are free only for those who bought "All Inclusive". For everyone else, even water for money. Here the waiters will not bypass you with their attention and 2-3 times for dinner they will offer something to eat. Price level: a cup of tea 3 euros. So we didn't order anything from them. We bought water in stores, just this year, not far from the Kriopigi hotel, an Ellnvika store was opened, in which 6 bottles of one and a half liters could be bought for 1 euro. Very nice price.
For children there is animation on the playground from 11:00-13:30 and from 17:00-19:00. Then there is a mini disco by the pool from 20:00 to 21:00.

At our request, on the common balcony of our floor, we were given a table, chairs, a dryer, which we used. In general, there are no complaints about the room - everything is new and clean, it works well. Air conditioning, TV, blinds on the windows are present. The room is cleaned every day and very carefully. Shampoo, soap, razors are provided upon request. There is no kettle or cups in the room, but we had a kettle and cups with us so we could drink tea. The light in the room was a little straining - a few small lamps by the mirror and above the bed, and that's it! The minus of the room was one - the window overlooked the passage through which vacationers went to their rooms, and often looked into our window, apparently to find out how we were doing. Therefore, if the light was turned on in the room, it was immediately necessary to curtain the window. And yes, we had a safe in the room. Is it paid or not, I don’t know, we didn’t use it, it is! This friend wanted to get rich on a child seat when we ordered a car from him. But he was unlucky when they gave us the car, Dimitri was not there, and the guy brought us a chair just like that. They didn't get paid for it, apparently.

- the driver of the train is a wonderful person, good-natured, we often chatted with him. very positive!
- the child was delighted with the cars in the hall and the train.

She very competently described all the excursions to us, offered them unobtrusively, was always happy to answer any question. As a result, we took three excursions. A sightseeing tour of Thessaloniki, Olympus-Dion-Vergina and a boat trip "Poseidon's Trident" on the second finger of Halkidik named Sithonia with swimming on the peninsula of the same name, with a visit to the wonderful white city of Neos Marmaras and swimming in the open sea near the island of Kelyfos (which means "Turtle"). He really looks like a turtle in his outlines. The water in the bay of Toroni (this is the first stop in Sithonia) was emerald green, and near the island of Kelifos it was sapphire. Lunch is also included in the price of the tour. In Thessaloniki, we were amazed by the stunning panorama of the Lower City from its Upper part. There is also a souvenir shop there. You can buy souvenirs at very reasonable prices. The White Tower, Aristotle Boulevard, Thermal Bay with its wonderful embankment - this is something!! ! On the way back, our guide Natalia brought us to the town of Nea Moudania, where we visited a shopping center with a wonderful tasting of wines, olives, cheeses. We also got acquainted with kumquat liqueur (produced exclusively on the island of Corfu). Very interesting white wine "Retsina" with a touch of resin. We often ordered it for dinner at the hotel. Very light and refreshing. Merlot and Chardonnay are also beyond praise. We bought wine, olives, oil and kumquats with pleasure. Mount Olympus is simply amazing. Especially the views of the Gulf of Toroneos and almost the entire peninsula of Halkidiki. Dion is the ancient city of Zeus. Vergina is famous for the tomb of King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great. The only thing is that you can't take pictures there.
Now about the pros of the hotel: cute, family, calm. Nice rooms and a decent view. We had a side to the sea and an olive grove with forests. A train took the hotel guests to the beach for free. To the beach 900 meters. You can, of course, if anyone wishes, and walk. Olives, azaleas, cicadas, brambles. The beauty. The sea is clear, green-blue. Little fish are swimming. Umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach are paid. We did not take them, as they do not like to lie down and sunbathe for a long time. Mostly sat in the water. Still sunbathing, as the sun is quite strong. Pool with fresh water, but deep, for an amateur of any level of depth. The area is small but nice. There is a museum of retro cars. There were performances in the evenings a couple of times a week. There were also Greek singers and Sirtaki. The pool has a bar where you can just sit and order wine, coffee or tea. The food for breakfast and dinner was very tasty. In the morning there were feta, several more types of cheese, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs and omelettes, sausages, fried mushrooms, vegetables, fruits, preserves, jams, honey, pastries, cookies, toast, juices. For dinner, maybe there was not a strong variety, but everything is fresh and different every day. One day the main dish was fish, seafood; the next evening - steaks, pork from the island of Corfu, very tasty beef, veal, chicken fillet. The potatoes were both french fries, and gratin (baked) and "peasant-style". Stewed vegetables, grilled, spaghetti. In general, you could choose. Sweets were also not far behind - three types of ice cream, fruits, cakes, jellies, baklava and cakes. In general, I can say with confidence that no one left hungry.
As for the minuses - there are, in our opinion, two. The first is the lack of an exchange office in the hotel itself and also in the village of Kriopigi. It was necessary to go to Kallithea, which is five kilometers from Kriopigi. And the second - there was a little cracked door in the room and through the gap you could hear the squeals of the children in the pool and the music. There was also a safe at the reception. But it happens in hotels.
The village of Kriopigi itself is very small, but there are many nice hotels, restaurants, a bakery, a shop with traditional Greek products.
But in general, we are very satisfied with the trip, and excursions, and pastime. We have already been to Rhodes and Crete, and this time, for a change, we also visited the mainland. On one of the days of rest, we accidentally learned about a wine festival taking place nearby, in the village of Afytos. Upon arrival there, they really found a separate area for wine tasting. At first, of course, we tasted, and then we decided to buy a bottle as a keepsake, for only 15 Euros, but the wine we chose at the opening, in any case, will only evoke warm impressions of this wonderful place. Bed linen and towels, by the way, changed in a timely manner. The maintenance staff did a very good job. The soundproofing in the room is good, we did not hear the neighbors.
We ate all inclusive: breakfast, lunch and dinner. The abundance of dishes was impressive, various omelettes, sliced cheeses, sausages, meat, fish, vegetables, salads, side dishes, fruits, desserts. All food is always fresh, tasty, and most importantly, healthy. Huge thanks to the chef! From drinks there is always tea, coffee, juices, water. The waiters are always very attentive and courteous, if something fell somewhere, they quickly changed everything and cleaned it up. There was almost never a line for food.

The nearest village of Kriopigi can be reached on foot. You won’t find anything particularly supernatural there, but there are a couple of fruit stands and souvenir shops.

Bed linen and towels were changed in a timely manner. Bathroom accessories were also replenished, they were simply changed for new ones when towels and linen were changed. Cleaning was done well, efficiently and quickly. If you want the cleaning lady to come to you later - hang a sign on the door, do not forget. The food is adequate for a hotel of this star rating. Breakfasts were ordinary - European buffet. Omelet, scrambled eggs with sausages, several types of muesli, all sorts of cereals, milk, milk porridges, Greek yogurts (be sure to try it! ), pastries here will also not leave you indifferent, and of course fruits are fresh and juicy.
