I decided to take my mother and father to rest abroad and thought for a long time and pondered where, finally I made a decision and we went to Greece to the island of Corfu. For relaxation, I chose this small and quiet hotel. The road from the airport took only 10 minutes and after another 15 we already went to the room, which in my opinion is good, because my parents were tired from the road. By the way, a big plus of the hotel is that the main road passes remotely from it and the noise is not heard. When choosing a hotel, I read a lot of reviews, considered several options and sometimes complained about this problem in other hotels. The room is small, modest, cozy, with air conditioning, a balcony, a shower, a hairdryer and a kitchenette with all utensils (dishes, a kettle, pots). The cleaning in the room was done by a very pleasant woman, her name was like Manuela, she made friends with her mother. At the hotel, we took only breakfasts, which we went to the neighboring hotel Loutrouvia, they consisted of cereal with yogurt, muesli, ham with cheese and bread, and insanely delicious muffins. In general, it is difficult to disappear from hunger there, next to the hotel there is a street full of restaurants, taverns and shops where we bought vegetables and our mother fed us homemade food) Well, of course, this is not every day, after all, we came to rest. Often ate in these taverns in the neighborhood - Greek cuisine is just great! I liked everything, especially the seafood. The pebbly beach is located just 2-3 minutes walk from the hotel, it was very relaxed, the water in the sea was just crystal clear. We went on excursions. We specifically chose a hotel that is economical in cost in order to spend money on the vacation itself. I don’t understand people who book 5 * All Inclusive, and then they don’t go anywhere, but sit and eat and drink only, because everything is paid for. And in Corfu there is 100% something to see! All the same, parents love cultural recreation, especially mom. I liked the Roman baths, Achilleion, the source of St. Paraskeva, they even say that she heals eye diseases, the village of Stavros Daphnata - I liked it very much, if you relax here - be sure to visit, there are very beautiful views, picturesque. The last couple of days a little neighbor has moved into our room - a gecko has climbed into the room, a small funny lizard. She did not bother us at all, when we were not in the room, he ate all kinds of mosquitoes and midges, flies, and when they returned, he hid behind the refrigerator. Here is such a nice little neighbor) We had a great rest, this is a great place for a quiet, relaxing family vacation and vacation with children. What can I say, I rested in different hotels, but since this time I was traveling with my parents, the expenses tripled and I booked these budget apartments with apprehension. Parents were satisfied, I also had a rest, so the rest was a success no matter what. So many negative reviews are written, I went to read it now, maybe I’ll send my parents here again in the summer, they felt very comfortable, and I’ll move to a new place.
