Корфу-остров мечта! Corfu is a dream island!

Hi all! Rested with my son from late August to early September 2010. I quickly decided on the island, Corfu is simply magnificent in its beauty, I chose the hotel based on discounts at that time for this particular hotel. They gave a very decent discount, 30 percent was exactly, compared to other hotels, I saved 30.000 rubles, not a little, especially since this money is better spent in local shops. When we arrived in Corfu, the mood rose instantly because of the incredible beauty around, and it was hardly possible to spoil it. The hotel is multi-level, everything is surrounded by greenery, good clean pools, beautiful territory and a road to the sea, there are really a lot of stairs, but it's really very beautiful, different photos from different places. I was especially impressed by the pool, which looks directly at the sea, you can’t even get out of there))) We settled in right away, filled out the questionnaire and that’s all, we took a suite, because with such discounts it was possible to turn around. The staff is very friendly, especially since they are just as Orthodox as we are, for them it turns out to be important)) The food is delicious, many times less assortment, of course, than in Turkey, well, this is Europe, it’s always like that there)) for that it’s always everything is different and something new. last year we rested in Montenegro, and so it looks like there is not much choice, but everything is delicious ! ! There were really a lot of people before the opening of the restaurant, I think that such a flurry of people was precisely because of these discounts and that everyone expected to see there, and get a discount and that everything is like in Turkey, I don’t understand. Of course, if you pay attention to everything, and find fault with everything, then yes. we just enjoyed the island, there is beauty all around, the sea is clean, we don’t want to leave the room at all. we went by bus to the city of Kerkyra, there is a church with the relics of St. Spyridon, you can venerate the relics in 1-2 minutes, they are rarely brought to Moscow and there are queues for 7-10 hours. many shops, very good Greek-made shoes, many shops, taverns, there is a fort, very beautiful. We took an excursion to METEOR!! ! this is something, I will not describe, you just have to go there ! ! I have a lot of impressions, a year has almost passed, only pleasant memories and a desire to return to this amazing island remain in my memory. not necessarily in this hotel, (but we really liked it there !!! ) you can go to another, but definitely in Corfu !! !
