We stayed at this hotel from 8 to 18 June. We believe that we chose the perfect time - it's not hot yet, the sea is already warm and there are few people. Were in the composition - parents and son 14 years old for additional. place. The main purpose of the holiday this time was the sea. It, to our joy, was affectionate, clean, swam plenty. In Greece for the first time, we rested in Egypt, Italy, the Czech Republic, etc. We chose the hotel because of its proximity to Meteora, the view of Olympus and the hotel itself. The service corresponds to a solid four, the territory, if further ennobled, will quite pull on a five. The staff is very responsive, Russian speaking. We were lucky - there were no problems with the room and service, all the little things were resolved quickly. The room was originally booked with a view of the mountains, but upon checking in, I didn’t like it - a French window to the garden and a small view, the hotel at that time was half empty, so for an extra charge they immediately changed it to a room with a sea view. It was one of the best standard numbers - 667.
Everything in the room worked well. The only thing is the air conditioner is weak. We took HB meals, which we did not regret at all - there are very good restaurants near the hotel with reasonable prices and huge portions - keep in mind - one serving of meat, which comes with vegetables and side dishes by default, is enough for two, also with salads. Actually, as in Italy or Spain. The food at the hotel suited us perfectly, the breakfast set is standard, everything is fresh. For dinner, the meat is very tasty, a standard set of vegetables, chicken, mussels, fish of the same species, grilled meat every other day. Frustrated by the lack of fresh fruit, in the last 4 days a delicious watermelon appeared. Lunch would not be advised to take - quite modestly. The main problem for us was the lack of tea, we cannot live without it. The promised kettle was also not in the room, and tea accessories were canceled in all rooms after some incident.
At first we asked for boiling water for breakfast, they couldn’t understand us for a long time, then they brought us, but the temperature for brewing even a bag was, to put it mildly, cool, they understood us from the sixth day (the waiters got used to it) and it became easier))) In general, the waiters are great — very friendly, professional. And what's nice - they remember the preferences of vacationers)))) One moment - drinks for dinner are paid, but water in a glass is free, the waiters themselves do not offer, so do not hesitate to ask. The bar at the Medusa Tavern on site makes good cocktails, once we were at the Asian evening. Everything was cooked deliciously except for the rolls, but the amazing fish more than compensated for this. We visited the SPA-center, during our arrival in the first two days it was possible to visit the sauna / jacuzzi / hammam for free. Recommend. Then a couple of times ordered already for a fee.

A 15-minute walk from the town there is a gorge with a wonderful waterfall (how to get there, you can ask Olga at the reception, I highly recommend contacting her - a real professional focused on vacationers). We didn’t go up to Olympus - we got lazy, enjoyed the view of it, by the way, it looks very picturesque from the hotel territory)))) at your disposal)))) Got back by taxi, did not want to wait for the bus.
We took an excursion to Meteora from Mouzenidis, in general I liked it. We visited two monasteries - Rusana (female) and St. Varlaam (male). The view, of course, is unusual, the eco-guide told a lot of interesting things about Greece all the way there.
We, in principle, are not fans of organized excursions, so the constant - we went to the right, went to the left, and now we looked to the right - it bothered us, but it was our own fault - we forgot our rights at home, it would be more comfortable for us by car.
We went to Dion to the archaeological part. We got there by taxi and agreed with the driver that we would call when we were to be picked up. We planned to visit the excavations, and then the museum. But they walked through the excavations until 15:00 (from 10:30) and did not get into the museum, and it just closes at 15:00. That was the surprise of the taxi driver when he found out that we spent all this time at the excavations)))) It's just that we love to visit the sights so slowly, with sense, with feeling.
And it also turned out to be a beautiful park, with benches in the shade of chic plane trees / nuts / maples)))) Only it was difficult to find a working restaurant in Dion at 15 pm, but we found and were rewarded with ice-cold beer and a chic lunch for 25 euros for two))) (went from the excavations directly, the restaurant is next to the Dion hotel). By the way, there are no taxis in Dion for some reason, only buses to Katerini are on schedule, you can ask the locals for it. Taxi ordered from the hotel. Public transport in Greece, as elsewhere in Europe, is very comfortable. Regular public buses, on which we traveled to Litochoro (10 minutes) and to Katerini (20 minutes) were new, with air conditioning, TVs, taxis - all Mercedes! The cost of a taxi, of course, is a little expensive - from the hotel to Litochoro - 6 km - 12 euros. By bus - 1.5 euros per person. Therefore, the best way out is to rent a car!

We flew directly to Greece and back from home (from Saratov), and not through Moscow, which saved time, money and effort. With the organization, Mouzenidis was in perfect order: the take-offs and landings went perfectly, the transfer went according to plan, the communication was friendly and informative. We plan to return to Greece and will be happy to contact Mouzenidis again. We want to go to the islands next time))) Before the trip, of course, we studied the reviews, we got a lot of useful information from Stas64's review, he described almost everything! And what is noteworthy, some of the minuses were fixed - there were no dogs that he wrote about, the beach was cleaned well, the solution to the problems of vacationers at the reception did not cause any complaints, there was a comfortable chair-bed in the extra bed, there were no big parties, weddings, birthdays, there are free sunbeds on the beach, even after the mass arrival of our compatriots))). But there was, in my opinion, a significant minus.
We deliberately did not take a computer with us on vacation, as there was a need to only look at the mail a few times, which we could not do even once! I don’t know what the problem is, but the hotel’s computer went online for a very long time, and after leaving, after 15 minutes it refused to load any page at all. For some reason, this issue could not be resolved at the reception (((There is Wi-fi, everything is in order with it, it is better to catch it at the reception and in the lobby bar. I recommend the hotel.
