Stayed at the hotel as a family of 2 adults and 8 year old son. I read the reviews before going and was skeptical. But upon arrival, I realized that I was worried in vain, the hotel turned out to be so cozy and well-groomed, that in hot pursuit I want to share my impressions. The service is friendly, everyone smiles and says hello. Managers strictly monitor that the waiters in the restaurant immediately serve customers, change the empty servings of food, pick up the fallen and wash the spilled. The food is excellent, every day there is a different cuisine: Greek, Italian, Chinese, Mediterranean, and some others, I can’t remember everything. For children - a special corner with food, the children crowded there in a swarm! Food - fish, seafood, pork, beef, lamb, rabbit, spaghetti, national dishes, cheeses, olive oil, olives, wines, champagne in the morning!! ! The hotel has 5 swimming pools, including one with sea water and an indoor one with spa treatments for 8 euros. Grecotel Club Marine Palace Suites has a children's slide. The rooms are cleaned, beach towels can be changed in the morning at least every day. This year there is an influx of visitors (Germans, French, Poles, Italians, Russians, Ukrainians, Norwegians, Danes, Slovaks, Czechs, Finns, there were even Japanese and Americans), so if you want to take a place closer to the sea, you need to take sunbeds on beach. I thought that this was typical of our redneck, but it turned out not - the first rows by the sea were occupied mainly by Germans, French, and Russians who had time. But the beach is arranged in such a way that you won't be left without a place under the sun (there is another beach with sun loungers behind the mountain ledge! ). The beach is separated from the sea by a stone pier that protects the bay from waves, and for several years the hotel's beach has been awarded a blue flag as the cleanest sea coast. Tour guides of the host companies impose their services in organizing excursions, renting cars, etc. If you show a little ingenuity, you can visit all the places of interest to you on your own by renting a car right in front of the hotel (Mazda3 - 65 euros, gasoline -1.6-1.8 euros) - excursions are much cheaper than their cost from the operator. The roads are excellent, with a map it is very difficult to get lost, there are signs everywhere. Be sure to visit the island of Gramvoussa and Ballos - an unforgettable sea of ​ ​ ​ ​ clear-blue-turquoise-blue-black and white sand, like on exotic islands in the Caribbean. It is also worth going on a rocket ship to the island of Santorini of volcanic origin - there is black sand on the beach !! ! In general, if you want to relax in paradise, and not look for flaws in the service, go to sunny Crete and enjoy the sea, sun and air!! !
