We were in this hotel with a family of 2 adults + 2 children 3 and 5 years old from 10 to 24 June. Crete met us terribly: the arrival terminal is tiny, and 3 planes arrived at the same time, everyone was gathered in a stuffy little room to go through control, people stood shoulder-to-shoulder for more than 1.5 hours, someone even got sick, children scream, everyone sweats, generally promising. Further confusion with the bus, this is the TUI tried. Then it went better: we drove to the hotel for 40 minutes, arrived at the hotel at 10:00, settled us in 15 minutes (we had a Family Suite, it was free). Spacious two-room suite with a kitchen and kitchen equipment, a washing machine, a very spacious balcony overlooking the olive grove and a piece of the sea.
When we walked around the hotel for the first time, we were amazed that only Russian was heard around, we had never seen anything like this abroad, there was a feeling that we were somewhere in the Crimea.
The hotel occupies a fairly large area, very well maintained and green. It is located on a slope, so there are many stairs, descents and ascents. The hotel has a lot of pools (5 outdoor and 1 indoor), one with salt water, all pools have a shallow area for children. The whole hotel consists of intricately built cottages, like in a labyrinth : ) It is very quiet on the territory, you can only hear birds, cicadas and roosters crowing since 5 in the morning (they walk freely behind the fence).

Meals on the system "all inclusive": the food is good, but as usual monotonous. From drinks: Cola, Sprite, sweet drinks from the machine. Of the free alcohol, there is also champagne and whiskey and vodka and wine, and you generally pour beer yourself unlimitedly. There are fruits, but not super many: watermelons, melons, apricots, apples, bananas, nectarines, peaches, there were cherries a couple of times. What the children liked was the ice cream open to free access (in each bar - take it yourself freely)
Animation for children: there is a separate Russian-language club TUI, the kids are all the time sculpting, gluing something, so whoever walks around doesn’t get bored. In the evening, children's discos.
Animation adult: sports games, evening programs leave much to be desired, but still they are.
Our biggest complaint is the beach. When we arrived, the beach was open alone, small, places were already occupied until 10 o'clock. People lie very close to each other, there are darkness in the sea, only one working shower. Nearby is a large bay, part of which is occupied by a paid beach (7 euros for 2 sun loungers with umbrellas). In the last 3 days in this bay at the end they put free sunbeds of our hotel. Of course, we were surprised by this approach.
On the beach there are free catamarans and kayaks, paid scooters, boats and a banana.
The hotel is located a 5-minute walk to Panormo, there is nothing special to do there, though there are shops, cafes and a pharmacy. There is a car rental under the hotel. We really used the services of TUI, took a car, drove to Chania: an ancient city, worth a visit; near Chania, there are completely different beaches, there is an open sea and the waves roll impressively.
Of the excursions were in the water park of Chania: an old water park, but there is nothing to complain about. We went to mountain Crete, it is impressive.
In general, Crete is friendly, beautiful and imperceptibly "catchy", I want to stay there forever, although all emigrants say that it is not easy to live there, especially for strangers.
In general, we liked the rest, we recommend the hotel to families with children, there is a sea of children there : )
Yes, still, there are mosquitoes and other insects, you need to take fumigators (or buy on the spot). Our children were bitten by someone in the likeness of bedbugs, we bought aerosols at a local store, sprinkled the beds and everything stopped, but there was such a moment.
