I planned to have a rest in Crete, and in particular, in Sensimar, back in 2011, studying in detail the reviews about the hotel, but. . . my husband convinced me in favor of Spain, but this year I didn’t have to choose - if we rest, then only in Crete, and only in Sensimar! And so, leaving the 11-month-old baby in the care of his mother, we fly to Crete. I completely agree with those tourists who write that the hotel has an atmosphere of calm and relaxation, just what we needed and what we were waiting for! The undoubted advantages of the hotel are a beautiful, well-groomed territory, varied and delicious food, new, spacious rooms, attentive and helpful staff, a two-level beach. And the Cretan Sea! It is impossible not to fall in love with its blue, blue color, by the way, in early October the water temperature was +24 degrees! We rented a Citroen C1 car at an agency located to the left of the hotel, and my husband presented his driver's license (red book), issued back in Soviet times, and there were no questions! Although I don’t know, maybe questions would have arisen when meeting with the police.... but we got through! We went to Chania, walked along the Venetian harbor, and then to the Devil's Harbor. located 20 km east of Chania, along the mountain serpentines, there is indescribable beauty, a truly magical place, in Rethymnon - a colorful Greek town with a beautiful promenade and, of course, on Santorini (the tour was taken at a local travel agency located in Panormo (aitidis_artoriks@mail . ru), punctually brought, put on the ferry, met - taken to the hotel. Ah, Santorini! You can write and write about it, but it's better to see and remember it for life! And I also liked the village of Bali, very cozy and cute. Summing up I will say that a week in Crete is, of course, very little, since Crete is so rich in sights and wonderful landscapes that you want to return to it again and again.
