I want to write a review in defense of Aldemar. Most tourists compare Rhodes with either Turkey or the Maldives. People, have you tried to compare with Egypt? Sometimes it seems that most of the vacationers are very often experts of various levels). I do not quite understand how you can compare different countries by hotel. First of all, it is always completely different characters, cuisine, climate and atmosphere. Each time the rest is different and unlike the previous one). We like something, and something just doesn’t quite or doesn’t suit us at all, but why be so vehemently indignant? Based on the foregoing, I want to characterize my review according to the principle of fit - did not fit. Upon arrival at the airport, we did not wait for the bus, I am not a fan of public transport, and took a taxi. We got to the hotel for 10 euros and 20 minutes. We settled in almost immediately. Our room was not in the main building, but almost on the outskirts, but on the ground floor, and with its own access to the pool and the beach. Spacious room with a large double bed and extra comfortable furniture. Since we arrived almost at midnight, wine, cold snacks, fruits and a bottle of water were waiting for us in the room. There were also hygiene products in the shower and a kettle with dishes and various ingredients in the form of coffee, tea, sugar and cream. Coffee was replenished daily, but I can’t say about shampoo and other things, I use my own funds. Cleaning, cleanliness of linen and towels are quite acceptable, with holes and stains never noticed. Weak insulation, but my husband and I only spent the night, and the neighbors were quiet without small children, so we can say that we were lucky.
The territory of Aldemar is huge, with various plants from palm trees to firs - beauty. There is where to take a walk and with such a workload, even retire. There are more than a dozen different pools with fresh and sea water. You can also find a free sunbed at 10-11 o'clock if you wish. But if, of course, you walk in circles near the central pool for the whole vacation, then you definitely won’t find it). The beaches are different. For children, a very good and shallow sandy one opposite the main building is ideal, which is interesting, the whole hotel is jam-packed with it, and then they complain that it is small. Guys, well, there are a lot of other beaches, and if without small children, then even much better. Do not be lazy, and in the early days go around and find a suitable place for yourself, it's not that difficult. We didn't bother with excursions. We rented a car and cut the island far and wide. Sometimes, later, we took a taxi and went to a restaurant we liked to relax and drink good wine. The views and beaches in Rhodes are simply amazing, and it is better to travel around them yourself and enjoy all the delights of nature and architecture. I want to note the food in restaurants. In the main restaurant, everything was enough in full. There were cheeses, and fruits, and seafood. Lots of meat and fish. Ice cream is free from morning to evening. The cooking itself is more suitable for us than is allowed in African or Asian resorts. We tried more dishes than usual. Of the a la carte restaurants, I categorically did not like the Chinese, and really liked the French. I can’t say anything specific about the animation, but I always saw a lot of vacationers participating in various activities. I can say that the hotel is well suited for families with small children. We were completely satisfied with our holiday. To all those present at the moment in the hotel, and to its subsequent visitors, we also wish excellent relaxation and only pleasant impressions.
