Someday it will come in handy for someone. First time in Greece. I am with a 12 year old child. We purchased a tour to the Aqua Beach Blue Bay Family World 4 * hotel through Annex Tour with accommodation in the main building on the first line in a Double Room. My friend (with her 3 year old daughter and 14 year old son) purchased a Family Room in the same building of the same hotel.
Specially from the tour operator they demanded a letter of confirmation that they guarantee us accommodation in the main building.
Upon arrival it turned out that such a hotel does not exist. This is actually a group of hotels Blue Bay and Sun Land. At the reception, upon arrival, they give us the keys and show us the 3 * building on the second line. I begin to communicate with the Greek woman in English, but she shrugs her hands, saying that everything is busy and there are no free rooms in the main building. I explain to her that we have paid for rooms of a different category, to which she throws up her hands and pretends that she does not understand me at all, switches to Greek.

After a long debate, afraid to stay on the street with the children, we move into the proposed building on the second line. Regardless of the fact that we paid different money for different categories of rooms (Double Room, Family Room), we are accommodated in absolutely identical rooms, where there are two beds, a third bed on a clay trestle bed, everything is shabby, only one of all the lights is on, the smell of sewerage, midges, dirty white linen, there was not even an air conditioner in my room.
Since we arrived after lunch, the hotel guide said that he would come the next day and come up with something. My husband, who paid for the best hotel room and is sure that we will not have any problems, starts calling all the telephones of the tourist support hotline, Annex Tour, in Russia, but they DO NOT ANSWER. God forbid what happens to a tourist, this is his problem.
Coming tomorrow. We are aware that the rooms we live in are half the price, that it takes 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea (which is extremely inconvenient with a small child), and most importantly, that no one is really going to change our number. Everyone is talking, but there are no rooms, there is nowhere to accommodate you. To my complaints that we booked a room back in March, received confirmation, paid completely different money, everyone just shrug.
The hotel guide, as compensation, offers us to use the water park for free. But we don't need it. By the way, do not believe the information on the hotel website. The water park is paid (located in the heat, three slides), the Internet is paid.
Another half day passes, NOTHING CHANGES. We, realizing that this is Saturday, and Sunday is generally a holy day off, we just started talking in raised tones with the hotel administration.
As a result, at the expense of the hotel, we were transferred to another Sun Rise 4 * hotel, where they provided rooms corresponding to our fee for them. But the beginning of the holiday, of course, is still scary to remember. Tourists, keep in mind that if you find yourself in the same situation, then you are OBLIGED to provide better conditions than you booked.

Conclusion: in this hotel, the Russians do not care about the roofing felts, because the main building is very large and for two days, when we stood near the reception, evicted and settled foreigners, it was a mess with booking rooms. In a terrible building on the second line, they even put a Russian girl at the reception, apparently only Russians are accommodated there.
