We were met by the Argonavtik company, got on the bus and went to the hotels. Upon arrival at our hotel (he was the 3rd in a row), I and my pier. a man found in the bus not 2 suitcases, but 1!! ! To which our guide (Artem) brazenly stated that they were not to blame, but the suitcase would be returned in the morning (it was 11 pm). In the morning, of course, no one returned anything, until we ourselves approached another guide - Tatyana. To which she said that no one was going to work 24 hours for us, and we allegedly forgot our suitcase at the airport. At the same time, she was calm as an elephant and always repeated "What are you worried about, they DO NOT STEAL in GREECE! " And she continued to tell tourists about excursions. As a result, the suitcase was returned to us from another hotel, but how much nerves we spent making Tatiana move at least somehow!...... The guides of this company Argonavtik leave much to be desired: not a word about the hotel, what, where and how much, but only vparivanie excursions. Speaking of excursions: the most profitable thing is to rent a car for 3 days and see everything for yourself, swim, and have a bite to eat somewhere. We did just that. The fines are large, but we did not see traffic cops, although gasoline is expensive. Local residents do not follow the rules of the road. We visited Lindos (the most beautiful bay), climbed to the Acropolis, went to the kiss of 2 seas (for those who can’t swim, it’s better not to go into the water - the current is very strong), climbed the cross and visited the “7 sources” (I’ll say right away that there is nothing to see there, except for a long tunnel that cleanses, removes all sins and rejuvenates for 10 (!!! ) years))) We also visited Water Park - it is located quite close to the hotel, a couple of bus stops . I liked it, there are a lot of slides, there are very scary ones. The only thing: the floor is concrete, hot in the sun - it is impossible to walk barefoot, so I was wearing socks. No other way! In terms of food in Rhodes, everything is very monotonous, the only thing that I really liked was fish (you can order it for dinner at the hotel) and octopus (the most tender meat). The Greek salad did not surprise me, there is also such a salad as “Chef Salad”, it’s just cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, greens, a piece of ham and cheese, and everything is seasoned with mayonnaise + ketchup sauce. French fries are served everywhere and with all dishes. Very tasty, sweet watermelons, peaches, oranges. We found really tasty wine…
We were given a room first on the 2nd floor (with a balcony overlooking the pool), there are shutters on the balcony, blackout curtains, good air conditioning. So there was no noise from the bar!! ! But on the floor of the hour, screaming, songs, etc. began at 2-3 in the morning, these were foreigners returning from a walk. The room has a very small refrigerator (it is in the nightstand with a key), an old small TV (if there are Russian channels, then everything is rebit and nothing is heard). Everything else is pretty decent. BUT: we were relocated on the 4th day to the 1st floor, supposedly regular tourists come and want our room (That's the whole attitude towards Russian tourists). Of course, we agreed, as we were given a superior room, after renovation, but the sediment remained. Yes, the beds there are indeed with a very hard mattress, but someone likes it. The TV already showed GOOD 3 Russian channels. The only thing is that this hotel has tiles on the floor, not carpet. Our friends have a small child many times fell on the wet floor ((The beach is very close, the sea is clean, there are no jellyfish) Topless girls are everywhere, and not only girls, but also ladies in old age. There are only 3 pools. One of them is closed (empty), and the other 2 are dirty with sand, a lot of bleach. We felt bad after this water. And also right above the pool there is a tower crane, old, abandoned. It sways in the wind from one side to the other. Like this, you lie on a sun lounger and think: is this counterweight above you?
About entertainment: Near the Bar Street hotel, where you can have a good rest for young people, not far from the amusement park. There are shops of natural cosmetics made from olive oil and aloe, good products. I tried it on myself!
And one more thing: we had a transfer back at 21.00, and we were evicted at 12.00 of the day !! ! It was with a small child that we had to spend the whole day in the sun! On the offer to pay extra for the room, we were refused (they said that at 14.00 new tourists enter our rooms). As a result, we were left with 1 room for 7 people (i. e. 3 rooms were collected in 1). And so they sat, as in a communal apartment. And when they left at 21.00, new tourists did not stop by.
I would like to summarize: Greece is a wonderful place, a good rest and a cozy, homely hotel. One BUT: Argonautik Company! Complete indifference to tourists, such people should not work as guides, but in trade. Have a nice holiday and....watch your suitcase! )

Good hotel, it lives up to its three stars. The first line to the sea is really 30 steps. Romantic. I think my review of the Aquarius hotel will be useful. This hotel, despite a small "star", is almost on the beach, on the best stretch of the coast of Faliraki. The hotel is facing the sea, so the division into see-view is purely arbitrary. If, upon check-in, you ask for a side that does NOT overlook the pool, then peace and quiet are provided to you. Otherwise, until 3 o'clock in the morning you will enjoy a dance-party held every evening on the beach, in the tavern of the same hotel. Favorite theme - Salsa parties. The hosts are a married couple who speak English. They are very friendly and willing to meet your requests (with the exception of mute the sound at the above dances, as this is their "bread" at the expense of incoming guests from neighboring hotels. ) This year, the rooms were cleaned by a Russian-speaking Greek guy Alexander, so with all questions you can him. The rooms are new, with balconies and a separate air conditioner (free! ). Each room has either a large fridge or TV (as you're lucky). The beds are new, albeit with hard mattresses, but it's comfortable to sleep. The territory is a garden near the pool with sun loungers and a tavern. In the afternoon, from the entertainment - a beach holiday and all kinds of cafes stretching along the sea. Nearby is a small port, from where you can go by boat on excursions or just to the city of Rhodes. In the evening, everyone goes out to the streets of Falliraki, which are a string of cafes, alternating with night shops and "boutiques" of Greek bottling. However, already on the second day you will be perfectly oriented, all the more so, in order to get around all the streets and nooks and crannies, you don’t have to run around with a scalded cat at all, all the same, you need to understand the village. You can have a very nice ride around the neighborhood on a train. And night club life is a separate topic, on which I can’t tell you anything, but the fact that it is in full swing here is true. In the evenings, many go for a walk in Rhodes, wander the streets, sit in a cafe. Unfortunately, many shops close already at 6 o'clock. A lot of young people rest in Faliraki, mostly Englishmen, young couples, with or without children. And there are also a lot of representatives of the older generation, mostly Germans. Of the Slavs - Russians and Poles. I do not advise anyone to take a hotel on the opposite side of the island and in the city of Rhodes itself!! ! Relentless wind and storm. And this is in the high season, in August! It is impossible to swim, it is dousing with the head and the ears begin to hurt from the wind. My son is 13 years old. So, after such a swim (in the city of Rhodes) in the waves, of course, he got a drive, and with it furunculosis, it blew him so hard in a couple of hours. Vacations with small children are out of the question! ! And in Faliraki the sea is calm, clear and warm. So have a nice holiday!

None of the tourists wrote that in the hotel from 12 noon to 4-5 at night there is no sound from the bar, namely yelling (at low frequencies, music that can be heard in any room with the windows and doors closed and the air conditioner turned on! At any time of the day and at night sunbeds, the pool at the hotel can be used by anyone when ordering drinks at the bar, i. e. just a passage yard! At the request of Russian vacationers to turn down the music and remove strangers from the pool, the hostess Maria smiles sweetly and does nothing, however, as and our guide.
Elderly people and mothers with small children should not go here. This one is for nightlife lovers! It is strange that the travel agencies of St. Petersburg and Moscow recommend this hotel as a quiet and family one!
Now about the good: the beach is sandy, clean, 20 m from the hotel. The sea has a good even entry into the water, the bottom is sandy, the water is clear and clean.
2 sunbeds + umbrella on the beach cost 7 euros.
The rooms are large, the furniture is decent. Cleaned daily and clean. If you are traveling as a group of three (with an extra bed), then they are accommodated in a large (22-25m) room on the first floor, there is simply no side sea view there. Side sea view is only on the second floor (these are double rooms).
The location of the hotel is very good, to the center of Faliraki (shops, cafes, bars, bus stop to Rhodes) 5 minutes walk. To Rhodes by bus 30 min. You can eat at the hotel in the tavern, but we didn’t really like it, we went to the restaurant "Dimitra" (5 minutes along the seashore). For the same money more and tastier than in a tavern. The island is very beautiful, if possible, take a car, buy a guidebook and calmly travel around everything in 1-2 days! Rent in 2009 of a small car from 27 -35 euros. A lot of beautiful places: Lindos, Kamiros, Filerimos!

HOTEL. 3 stars can only be given to the tavern at the hotel, it is quite modest in appearance, but the food is delicious. Housing for 24 rooms, including 4 apartments - rooms with a living room and two bedrooms. I must say that the hotel is a building, it does not have a foyer, hall, reception, just a corridor and rooms on both sides, and the keys to the rooms are kept by the owner in a locker located in the tavern. … More ▾ HOTEL. 3 stars can only be given to the tavern at the hotel, it is quite modest in appearance, but the food is delicious. I must say that the hotel is a building, it does not have a foyer, hall, reception, just a corridor and rooms on both sides, and the keys to the rooms are kept by the owner in a locker located in the tavern. On the opposite side of the pool.
PROS - everything is fresh and clean looking as it was built in 2006.
- Few people, a quiet place, but if you want to "buzz", everything is at hand. Worth a 10 minute walk to the center. All rooms with sea view or side sea view.
- Russian maid, a big hello to her. Sincere woman, thanks to her for her hard work and good advice. She has been a Greek citizen for 17 years. She told us a lot, and we felt calm and comfortable.
- Two pools and the third one was being completed. Two deep, maximum depth 2.60 m.
MINUSES - there is no shower near the pools and therefore there is a lot of sand at the bottom and cleaning was done only once during our stay, and then only in one of the pools. It was also embarrassing and touching at the same time the presence of a goose and a goose that walked around the territory and, of course, swam in the pools.
- The presence of the British can poison life, but this does not apply to the hotel specifically, they are everywhere in Rhodes!! ! They make noise, drink a lot, orgies in the pool with topless girls, litter, and usually go in crowds of 5-10 people. They can be recognized by tattoos and erakes of all colors of the rainbow and loud communication. Greeks don't like English tourists very much. Russians, on the contrary, are loved and respected. In our hotel, the orgy promised by compatriots with experience was only one and that day. The rest of the time we slept peacefully, because the street with night bacchanalia and obscurantism was a 7-10 minute walk.
IN THE ROOM - a TV with a remote control and two Russian channels, a safe in the room, air conditioning - free of charge, unlike most fives and fours, where the rent for remotes and safes reaches 2 euros per day, new furniture, a refrigerator, a bathroom combined with a shower, balconies.
- Cleaning daily, linen change every other day.
- The furniture and equipment of the rooms in general is 4 stars boldly.
- Tipping for cleaning the maid from the table did not take, and at the end of the holiday we thanked her personally for 10 euros.
NUTRITION. We only had a continental breakfast. These are cereals, buns, cheese, ham, hard-boiled eggs, chopped vegetables, coffee, tea, juices, jelly and fruits cut into a bowl. Sometimes there was bacon and eggs. This was enough for us until the evening. Full board or "all inclusive", as we were told, to take on Rhodes is at least reckless.
According to the stories of compatriots, the top five is monotonous and there is little national cuisine. And the variety and number of taverns will not leave you hungry. They cook delicious food everywhere. The dishes are amazing and most importantly plentiful. The cost of one dinner is from 20 to 30 euros - a bottle of beer, a glass of wine and three courses - an appetizer and two main courses. The plates are big, mind you. As for pompous restaurants, there are smaller portions and higher prices, but this is a maximum of 45 euros for a dinner for two. You can eat at McDonald's, KFS or Pizza Hut, they are there in the center of Faliraki, as well as a large number of mini and super markets where there is fast food. We took juices, fruits, water and delicious Greek beer "Mythos" there, it costs from 70 cents to 1.5 euros. Not a bad tavern on the beach near our Cactus hotel. There, wonderful Uncle George invites everyone to a meal. We ate there 4 times and were never disappointed.
EXCURSIONS.
CAR FOR RENT. What we advise you to do if you have rights, preferably with a green card, without it until the first traffic cop. The whole island can be driven by car slowly with swimming on all kinds of beaches and snacks in 4 days. If you just ride, then one day is enough. We rented a car for 2 days. The cost per day is from 30 to 250 euros. Depends on the brand of car. They give a full tank, everything that you roll, you fill it back yourself. We traveled 25 liters in 2 days. A liter of gasoline then cost 1.35 euros. Russian rights are good, but until the first traffic cop, who cannot be found there during the day with fire. Better yet, don't break it. We took a car through the guide of the meeting company, it is neither a cent nor more expensive. It's just that there are no troubles with searches, and Argonautik Travel has a plus in the fact that in the city for their cars there is free parking on the blue lines. If you go to Rhodes, it is better early in the morning. After 11 it is difficult to find a place for a car there. Better yet, go to Rhodes by bus. From Faliraki to Rhodes one way 2 euros. It is cheaper and easier in regards to parking. By car, it is better to spend time in more remote places, such as Cape Prasonisi, where the Aegean and Mediterranean seas merge. Although buses also go there and to other important tourist places. Getting around the island is no problem. For extreme sportsmen rent scooters. We really do not recommend because of the complexity of traffic and serpentine roads. I had to watch a terrible accident. Soft-boiled motik crashed on a gazelle-type car. All this is scary guys, take care of yourself and don’t forget to turn on your brains while turning on the transmission.
For those who do not want to take a bus and cannot drive, a guide has a large selection of excursions.
Valley of the Butterflies, Greek evening, Fishing, this is where we were, and by car we visited the Tsampikou church, the city of Lindos, Cape Prasonissi - this is one day, on the second, the city of Rhodes, the beaches of the Aegean Sea, the Monolithos acropolis, the beach of Gennadia, on on the way back to Faliraki on the Mediterranean. Everything left a wonderful impression. On the way to Monolithos, there are difficult roads in the mountains, the slope is 10%, few places have fences. Quietly drove at 40 km / h. The maximum speed on the highway is 80 km. The average is 50. The fine for not wearing a seat belt is 350 euros per person. For a bribe to a traffic cop you can go to jail.
BEACHES. The beach at the hotel and there are few people on it. Somewhat dirty. Although cleaned daily. The British mostly suck. A sun lounger closer to the sea costs 3 euros per day, further from the sea 1 euro, in the middle 2 euros per day. We took only one time and then on the day of departure. The rest of the time the sunbeds on site are free, we went there.
A lot of water entertainment - bananas, cheesecakes, parachutes, scooters, boats, diving, boards.
In the mini-market you can buy a circle or a mattress. Which is what we did.
A 15-minute drive from Faliraki (terminal stop at McDonald's opposite the fountain with a kissing couple) is the wonderful beach of Kalithia or Kallithea. One way ticket 1.5 euros. Beach on the rocky shore. A cafe in the rock, a sea of sun loungers, the entrance there through the source museum, where Mussolini used to be treated and rest. Entrance to the beach and the museum is paid, the museum is 2.5 euros. Sunbed 3.5 euros per day. But it's worth it. In the rocks you can swim in a mask and see the fish there are a couple of species but in large numbers. There are boats with diving excursions. We arrived there in the morning after breakfast and left only at 17:00. Someone here writes that the beach is crowded with people, there are no places, it was before, now the beach is paid and there are fewer people. Peace and amazing view!! ! We advise everyone. Before entering this territory there is a descent to a separate beach, bypassing the museum. There are also paid sunbeds and a kiosk with drinks and fast food. We didn't go there, but we watched. Pretty decent.
SOUVENIRS.
Oil, olives, wine, vases and photo frames, handmade and factory. Handmade ones are much more expensive. A small one costs 9 euros, large ones from 16 euros and more. Black handmade vases covered with 25 carat gold. Sandals from 10 euros, wear for 1 time and throw away, and there are decent ones from 25 euros. Slippers made of natural wool with pampons just for Russian winters from 10 to 15 euros, depending on the size. The rest is all Chinese tripe. You can also search for something else. We did not focus on souvenirs. European shopping can be arranged in the city of Rhodes. There are both flea markets for tourists and company stores. Women's handbags "Maskino" 325 euros, "Furla" 350-400 euros. Clothing varies by brand and price. If you go shopping, then reserve 1000 euros per person separately for this))). For this amount at average prices, you can stock up from head to toe.
SURPRISE. We were “lucky” to be caught in an earthquake. We woke up at 6 am from the fact that the furniture was shaking, the bed was bouncing. They grabbed everything they had and rushed to the exit. But before they even got out of the building, everything stopped. It wasn't scary right away. They did not understand from sleep. Then, assessing the possible outcome, it was, of course, creepy. Rhodes is a seismic zone, but this does not happen often. According to the maid, there were no such shocks for a long time, they are quite strong. It came from the sea and therefore did not cause damage. We prepared for the next night by putting documents, money and tickets under our pillows, but luckily nothing happened.
Fortunately, this trip was an amazingly beautiful adventure, and even the shaking did not spoil it. I hope that the last paragraph will not scare you, I did not hide it because I just wanted to share it, and not scare you and force you to refuse a trip to this wonderful place. We wish you a great vacation too!

Near the hotel there is a cafe and a bar, we later became convinced that this is the best on our coast and ate there all the time.
I can talk for a long time, so if you have any questions, then write. I will be glad to share my happiness! ))) and I highly recommend it, because the trip will be inexpensive and you will be satisfied....I say for sure ! !
