Recently returned from this "miracle" of the hotel business! You just get confused where to begin to describe all the "charms" of a two-week vacation at this 5 * Luxury Resort hotel. . . We rested on the all-inclusive system and immediately inconvenience, since not all hotel guests live on this system, so if, for example, you are lucky in a bar and you catch a waiter (which is not always easy) and try to place an order, he runs away again and you are waiting for another with a special typewriter in which he will write down from which number you are (suddenly you need a bill), then he leaves, but if there is someone at the table with you who drinks are not included, then he does not go far, as he have to feed you in case your non-all inclusive friends drink your all inclusive drinks! Difficult, inconvenient and does not fit with the concept of service. . Room: not bad, although it could be bigger, but everything would be fine if it was clean! The mirror in the bathroom, as it was in drips and splashes upon check-in, remained in this form from day to day, the wardrobe mirror was also covered with stains and prints of various sizes and origins, the tables were covered in dust and mugs from glasses, the glass door to the balcony it seems that they didn’t wash at all for a year, no one cleaned the balcony itself, and there both the floor and the furniture were covered with a layer of dust, leaves, dried flowers, etc. . dirt, and the sunbeds were fouled by birds! After living a week in a state of constant bewilderment and one fine day 5 times asking to finally clean our room, which was never cleaned, I decided to talk with the hotel manager and ask him what, in his opinion, people pay money (and the money is not so small, as this hotel is about 1.5 times more expensive than the "regular" 5 stars)? After this epoch-making conversation, our room was "licked", that is, the toilet button was washed, the middle of the mirror in the bathroom was washed (apparently there was not enough fuse for a large area and the edges remained in streaks and I think now they "decorate" the rest of the next lucky ones, the closet was washed, but the door to the balcony did not undergo any changes, and remained in such a form that it was scary to touch it, the balcony was vacuumed, the dust was brushed off the tables, the sunbeds remained in shit (I admit that in the country where the maid came from this type of organic fertilizer is simply not considered dirt) . . Food: in the main restaurant there are two distributions, the food on them is the same, every day there was about the same list of dishes. We always slept through breakfast, ate only at lunch and dinner, but since there was no variety, after a week we could no longer look at all this fast food, we had to travel and eat outside the hotel, which led to significant additional expenses. But the main problem of this restaurant is not in the food, but it lies in the fact that no one cleaned the dirty dishes from the tables and the guests sat surrounded by used plates and appliances, making them up either on an empty place at the table (there were three of us and we made up the plates for the fourth place), and those who did not have free places on the tables made up everything on the adjacent, served tables, so when you came and sat down at the table, you had to understand that someone else's dirty dishes could well have stood on these napkins and cutlery! We observed the following picture: an elderly French couple came and sat down at a nearby table from which all the dishes had just been removed, after people had finished eating, but they had not yet served it again (this is also not fast). After sitting for more than five minutes, it became noticeable that people were already starting to get nervous, the uncle tried to call the waiter, but unsuccessfully - as a result, he got up and went around the restaurant to collect cutlery, plates, glasses and other serving items! We did not go to a la carte restaurants, as the only desire was to get somewhere far away from this hotel! We even went to the beach in Kamiros (it's 30 km from Rhodes), on the Aegean Sea! Swimming pools: after the children of our friends caught a stomach infection on the first day in the hotel pool (on the third floor) and fell ill with fever and vomiting, we did not approach them. But purely visually, there was nothing interesting in the hotel pools, everything is rather primitive, you will not find any artificial currents, jacuzzis, etc. there. Territory: the "landscape design" of this hotel consisted of a stunted lawn, bald plantings of some kind of quinoa and something resembling a flowering onion, as well as thinned bushes and stunted flowers in places! Entertainment: they are not in the hotel. Sometimes someone sang in the bars, but not until late and by 12 at night everything was closed! Once I also watched some dull aqua aerobics in the pool. . . Sea: the beach is across the road, but it's not too annoying, you can take a walk, or you can take electric cars, the drivers of which are the only ones who have no complaints at all - polite, smiling, they always ask if they can give you a lift. . . The bar on the beach is not included in the all-inclusive system and there are no lifeguards there, as the corresponding inscription says. Summary: this hotel has nothing to do with 5 * (I'm already silent about the luxury resort)! For comparison, last year we rested on the Greek island of Kos at the Blue Lagoon Village hotel, it’s just 5 * without any claims to the luxury segment and it’s one and a half times cheaper, but comparing these two hotels, by any criteria, is like comparing Lada Kalina ( La Marquise) and Rolls Royce Phantom (Blue Lagoon Village). You choose. . .
