The Grand Hotel Palace 5 * is located quite far from the center of Thessaloniki. Shops, taverns, places of interest - all this needs to be reached by bus or taxi.
City hotel with 261 rooms. In the rooms: air conditioning, satellite TV (Russian channel), telephone, free wi-fi, safe, electric kettle, tea / coffee making facilities (paid, making yourself coffee costs 1 euro, I don’t remember tea), safe (free of charge), bathrobes , slippers, bath, hair dryer, a small balcony (you can’t go out on it). Everything seems to be good, but it looks old and musty, alas.
The hotel has a restaurant with European and Greek cuisine, a bistro-bar. Meals - breakfast (buffet). During our stay at the hotel there was a wedding dinner, so the restaurant is not as bad as we thought.
The hotel offers a gym, sauna, indoor heated pool.
The hotel is convenient for holding conferences, seminars, trainings: there are 13 conference rooms equipped to the highest requirements, meeting rooms.

Parking is paid. There is a Lidl supermarket nearby.
An absolute plus: the hotel has conditions for receiving guests with limited mobility.

Personal impression: that rare case when a respectable facade impressed more than the “inside” itself. More likely no than yes.

Summary: 4 with a minus on a five-point scale. Although for a short stay (for example, on a business trip), it is ideal.
