This is our travel agency out of good intentions (so as not to lose days), they booked us tickets for a flight at 4-55 in the morning. Together with us, an elderly couple of Russians also arrived at the hotel. Check-in starts at 14:00. An elderly couple was lucky - their room turned out to be free, but we were asked to leave our things at the reception and take a walk. Without thinking twice, we decided to go to Nikiti. As a result, we got to our room only at 14-30. My advice to all of you, fly out of Moscow no earlier than 9 am, so that you have to wait as little time as possible for check-in. The calculation of arrival at the hotel is approximately the following: 3 hours flight + 40 minutes at the airport in Thessaloniki + 1.5 hours drive to the hotel. Yes, and do not forget that their time is 1 hour behind Moscow in the summer. Now about everything in more detail. The hotel and its location. The hotel is located between two villages, Nikiti and Metamorfosi (2 and 3 km respectively), in the first line. I liked the hotel itself. Clean, simple, but so cozy. Somehow, it's very soulful. To the main road about 50-70m, not noisy. The territory is immersed in greenery, which cannot but rejoice. A very unusual combination: pines and palms! The air is simply divine. To the sea 200m. Number. There are not many rooms. We lived in 401, with a separate exit to the patio. In my opinion, these are the most successful numbers. Everything is simple in the room: a bed, a couch for a child, a refrigerator, air conditioning (for those who understand DAIKIN))), although not new, a TV (only the First channel from our channels), a wardrobe, a table, a mirror, a bedside table, a hair dryer. I liked that there was a big bath and not just a shower. The refrigerator freezes with a bang. There are no bathrobes (we didn’t even need them), slippers too (if you plan to sit all day in the room, bring your own). Safe at the reception, per week 17 euros. Cleaned in the room every day, towels are also changed every day, bed linen every 3 days. In general, everything is quite decent! True, my advice to you is to take your shampoo, soap, shower gel with you, there are tiny samplers. Well, on your first trip to the supermarket, buy an air freshener, because the bath is together with the toilet, but they somehow didn’t think about the smell. ))) Well, it’s better to grab a toilet paper too, because they forgot to put it on us once. It is better to have a reserve) Meals at the hotel. They took breakfast and dinner. Let me tell you, I have never been to breakfast. Too lazy to get up, and there are a lot of people. But dinners... Honestly, I confess to you, I love to eat. And what was at dinner was more than enough. Meat, vegetables, 3 pieces of side dishes to choose from, fruits (watermelon, melon, peaches, kiwi), soup, desserts. There were no drinks. Considering that my husband is a chef of European cuisine, the food was very good!!!!!! ! Tasty! ! Also, if you want to eat in the evening, but you don’t want to go anywhere, you can also eat in the restaurant at the hotel. Just do not order meat there, it is almost 2 times more expensive than in Nikiti or Metamorfosi taverns. The cost of a portion of pork loin with french fries is 11 euros (6.5 euros in village taverns). My recommendations: pasta, a huge portion of carbonara 7 euros. There is also the usual for 5. Local bar. Semi-sweet red wine 14 euros a bottle, pina colada cocktail 8 euros, beer 0.5-3.8 euros, lemonade 3 euros. Staff and service. There is only one Russian-speaking manager Milena at the reception. Her working day ends at 4:30 pm, so after that time you will have to explain yourself in English. Eleni knows Russian in the bar. Thank you so much Milena for your help. You can always approach her and ask everything that interests you. The rest of the managers Andrea and Christie (I don't remember exactly) are also good, but it's more difficult to communicate with them, because my English leaves much to be desired))). Eleni is just a sincere person, a very good attitude towards everyone, kind. Eleni, thank you for the gift! ! The only thing was 2 small embarrassment with cleaning. Once (our oversight - they forgot to put up a DO NOT DISTURB sign), the maid entered our room at 9-30 in the morning. And we were still sleeping, and the second time, even when the sign was hanging, she still knocked. In order for us to wake up, she needs to get out. Discomfort. Well, about laundry in the laundry. One wash costs 10 euros, regardless of whether you have collected a laundry bag or one item. At the reception they said that the assembled package is simply placed on the bed and when the room is cleaned, the maid will pick it up. The first time it happened, they brought it in 2 days, although they said that they washed it in a day. Before leaving, we decided to once again give to wash things. Leaving things on the bed in the bag in which they brought the previous wash, in the evening, when we came to the room, we found our things exactly where they had left them. Husband said they thought we hadn't unpacked the previous stuff. Left things behind. morning in a simple bag from the supermarket, but the result is the same. Maybe they wanted money for tea? This is what I didn't understand! I will follow. times to keep in mind. Sea. The beach is sandy. At the entrance to the sea there is a small strip of pebbles (on the left side of the beach 1.5 m, on the right side 0.5 m), then a sandy bottom. Sunbeds are paid, 6 euros per day. 2 sunbeds, umbrella, table-chair, 2 mattresses for sunbeds and 2 towels. And for those who are not satisfied with the cost, they may well sit on their towel or rug. I think that the cost is small, especially since you can leave your swimming accessories and your towels there, and no one will even touch them with a finger or throw them off. There are enough beds for everyone. There is also a beach bar. There are few sunbeds by the pool, not enough for everyone, but they are free. There are no slides, but there is a children's section. In the morning the sea is quiet, warm and incredibly clear. Fish are swimming at the bottom about 20 meters from the shore. Diving with a mask is a pleasure. In the evening, waves rise, but small. But how nice it is to ride the waves... Transport. Somewhere I read a review that taxis do not go to Porfi - a lie. Yes, on weekends it is difficult to get a taxi, but only because there are only 3 of them for 2 villages and they go to the airport on the way out. So plan on hiking on the weekends. And in the week a taxi arrives without any problems. To the Galaxy (or Galesias) supermarket in Nikiti 7 euros, i. e. 2 ends 14 euros. We didn’t go to Metamorfosi because our walks there just fell on the weekend. But they said that no more than 10 euros one way. It is useless to wait for buses, to stop the car too (at that moment they sadly remembered Moscow with cross-mobiles). But in Metamorfosi, it seems like you can rent a car, about 30-50 euros per day. Russian rights are being rolled there. Nikiti and Metamorfosi. It is worth walking to both villages at least once. Nature is simply amazing. And what kind of photos can be taken... You will swing!! ! I liked Nikiti more. This village is stretched along the road, in contrast to the "bumpy" Metamorfosi. Nikiti has an amazing port. There is a city beach, yachts, boats (perhaps, you can negotiate a lease, we did not find out), many shops. But so far only 2 places are worth attention (at least on this trip): A souvenir shop on the way to the port, if you go to the sea, then on the right side. There we bought a photo album made from the leaves of some tree and even the pages are green and smell of something vegetable (9 euros), and we bought a decorative net with shells that hangs on the wall (a small one is also 9 euros, they also hang more, but also the cost is up to 15 euros). There are many other pleasant trifles and a charming saleswoman. Supermarket Galaxy I do not take into account. Well, a charming place opposite the supermarket is the tavern Λ Υ Δ Ι Α Ν Ο Σ . In Metamorfosi somehow very vain. If you walk from the hotel, then the very first supermarket is the best place to buy soap, icons, and all sorts of souvenirs (both in choice and in value). Next comes the Liana tavern, where they speak Russian))). And the menu is also in Russian. There are a lot of tourists (I don't really like it! ), there are even Russians, it's just that there are a lot of hotels in Metamorfosi. In Nikiti somehow calmer. Taverns. As I said, the best place for lunch is Λ Υ Δ Ι Α Ν Ο Σ in Nikiti. We ate in Metamorfosi in Liana, and in Sofia, 3 minutes from the hotel (on the way to Metamorfosi), but there is nowhere tastier. Ignore the fishy smell at the entrance - they also have a fresh fish shop. It is better to sit there on the veranda. Huge portions, great service. I advise you to order: for two 1 serving of Greek salad (4.5 euros), grilled bread drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with oregano (1.5 euros), pork loin (comes with french fries, surprisingly real, not defrosted, 6 5 euros), and a drink to your taste. On average, a dinner for three cost us 30 euros. Their fish is expensive, the minimum cost is 10 euros per fish. Awesome waiter Jordanis. Well, the hostess Maria is kindness herself, we were even treated to national dishes, one of them was with stewed eggplant. Leave tea (5-10% of the bill), and even for 3 euros you will see such gratitude, not like snickering waiters in Moscow. In "Liana" prices are almost the same, only there the tables are somehow close to each other, this creates a feeling of discomfort and anxiety. Well, to each his own. The last thing we visited and are very glad that we did not waste time on this tavern was the Sonya tavern. The service is not very good, the food is normal, but I didn’t like that you have to sit on the bread and pour oil and sprinkle oregano yourself ((. Yes, and the prices there are more expensive than in the previous two taverns. It’s better to spend money on a taxi and get to the village. In general, you decide where to eat. Souvenirs and prices in shops. As I said, the best place to buy magnets, soaps, spices is the first supermarket in Metamorfosi (if you walk), next to the Liana cafe. The cost of an ordinary magnet is 1 euro, soap 1 piece 1 euro, a set in a box of two pieces 3 euros, various icons up to 20 euros, spices up to 5 euros. A large set of spices (about 8 pieces) + a 0.25 bottle of olive oil costs 11 euros (bringing as a gift is just super!! ). I also bought a swimsuit for 17 euros, an average plastic suitcase 45 euros (the quality is excellent! ), But it can be cheaper (supermarket in Nikiti). My advice to you is to buy some milk. A liter costs 2.5 euros, in a bottle. I think after that you will not want to drink packaged Moscow milk. It's just something. Yummy!! ! So the prices are very, very even. Pharmacy. We ran into a small problem in their pharmacy, they do not have antiseptics, like we have streptocide. They have a PULVO47 spray, and even then not in all pharmacies, in Metamorfosi there is definitely no pharmacy. Therefore, if you are going to take plasters and bandages and streptocide. Just in case, otherwise they often have pins sticking out of the ground. . Alcohol and cigarettes. Well, to all lovers of alcohol)) They have excellent beer. In Msk I don’t drink beer at all, but there... It is so light, tasty, there is no that bitterness of alcohol that everyone is used to drinking in Msk. The store mostly sells cans at 0.33, at 0.5 less, Hoochie cocktails were not noticed, Jaguars - I was pleased, and I also didn’t see one and a half and two-liter eggplants of beer AT ALL. There were only 2 energy drinks: Red Bull and some local one. A package of beer from 6 cans of 0.33 each costs 3.5 euros. But smokers will have to take it with them and smoke sparingly))) A pack of 25 Pall Mall cigarettes costs 3 euros in Metamorfosi and 3.60 in a supermarket in Nikiti. Communication with the house. I don’t know how it is in other countries, but when flying to Greece, don’t even go to Dutik with alcohol. We bought Asti Martini in Dutik for 10 euros, well, we think it’s cheap, we have a bottle of 0.75 rubles in the center of Moscow in the store for 920 rubles... And even this is without tax. . HERE WE ARE FUCKERS!!! ! Going to the same Galaxy in Nikiti, we saw a bottle of Asti 0.75 for 10 euros (tax or 13% or 23, I don’t remember exactly !! ). So do not strain your arm muscles and drive empty))) TOTAL. In general, let's summarize. Olinkus lovers do not belong here, and Thurland lovers too (you will be bored, e-my). This holiday is designed for people who are tired of the hustle and bustle of the city. For those who want to live at least a little without regard to time. For families with children (less worries that the child will fall and hit his head on the hill, that there are no catamarans and boats on the sea, again it is safe for children). For people who are tired of "Russian" drunks pouring vodka. Do not believe it, for all 12 days we did not see A SINGLE drunk person!! ! Yes, everyone drinks there, but not until usra. ki. In the evening, everyone at the hotel also sits in a cafe by the pool, chatting and drinking beer or wine. But they don't have our dimidrol beer that makes people go crazy from 2 bottles! Someone was indignant that there were no Russian speakers? Learn the language!! ! It is high time to understand that without English, nowhere. We need dressing gowns, slippers, and ass-licking - to Turkey, or Egypt in all in, to eat up yesterday's food. I also want to say that without money, just sitting in a hotel will be boring! We need elementary money to go to the villages for a walk and eat. And freeloaders who are accustomed to feeling like gods with 10.000 rubles in their pocket, please do not go to this hotel, so as not to write reviews later that everything is bad there, the staff is shitty, there are no slippers, and it’s expensive to eat !! !
