I want to share with you my impressions after staying in this hotel.
I went on vacation with my mother, the ticket was paid back in April.
It was a big shock for me that many vacationers did not know about the closure of the Gerakina Beach hotel, because it is written about it everywhere on the Internet, so we certainly knew about the absence of a pool and animation.
Heading to this hotel, we learned absolutely all the details and gave a full account of the train.
The hotel was chosen in advance not expensive, quiet, calm in a simple village.
I want to start with accommodation. Upon check-in, we were met by our hotel guide and helped with the translation (since there are no Russian-speaking staff at the reception). The room was ready within an hour. We stayed in a double room on the first floor. Very satisfied, balcony overlooking the garden, complete set of fittings, good bathroom, air conditioning, hair dryer, refrigerator.

The room is cleaned every day. Be careful, do not forget about the plate on the door, for cleaning it should hang with the green side.
Bed linen and towels are changed every 3 days. The beach is nearby, we were very pleased with it. Few people, clean sand and not deep enough . . There are free sunbeds on the beach, you can take an umbrella at the reception for a deposit of 10 euros and return it upon check-out.
We were also quite satisfied with the food, yes, at dinner the choice is not large (drinks at dinner are paid), but they cook deliciously, and at breakfast, in principle, the standard set of any hotel: ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, vegetables, bread, butter, peach jam, etc. . d.
We were satisfied with the staff, both the hotel staff and representatives of the Mouzenidis company. The guys are always very friendly, they have all the necessary information, in general, they will help in any questions. I would like to express special gratitude to Vula. A wonderful girl, who does not speak Russian, is always happy to answer any questions and, so to speak, will help in any way she can))
And, of course, the waiters Kostya and Jorgus. You can have lunch in the village, it is a 10-minute walk at a calm pace, there are all restaurants, bars and shops. My mother and I constantly dined at the La Scala tavern. Pleasant whole, large portions, wonderful host Stavros, and most importantly very tasty. On the main road of the village there is a large blue supermarket, where there is food, souvenirs and household chemicals. From myself I want to advise you to try the wine Maliritos nat. Retsina drink, very interesting taste.
Of the excursions, we went to Individual Kastoria, as the train for a fur coat was the second priority, after the silence and the sea.
From myself I want to add, you should not re-read all the reviews and be horrified, the hotel is not bad and fully corresponds to its price!
