Hello everyone! I hasten to share with you a story about our family travels with children. They were really unforgettable and full of wonderful days and pleasant surprises.

We are mom (me), dad and two young adventurers (5 year old Mia and 11 year old Mark). We were drawn to Greece like a magnet. We wanted to see its different corners and feel the local features and customs. We began our study and vacation in fabulous Halkidiki. We chose Sithonia, a part of the peninsula that is well suited for a family stay, and a hotel

Bomo Club Assa Maris in the resort village of Agios Nikolaus. We also rented a car to be free to move around the peninsula, see different sights and try the best entertainment.

We liked the hotel, especially its spacious outdoor pool and a wide range of sports activities: I was like aqua aerobics, I love it very much and therefore I was glad that the hotel had such an opportunity, tennis and beach volleyball. And it is very important that there was a Grecoleto kids club. This is a special program for children (4-8 years old) and older (8-12 years old), we just fell perfectly into these age categories. It was a great bonus for us. The children were happy to meet active and friendly animators and new friends; stay and games inspired and cheered them up! Mia danced enough, and Mark found like-minded people and friends, and together with the animators they began to conduct something like rehearsals of a rock band.

And we could have a little rest together, go or go somewhere, sit quietly in a cafe or restaurant, go shopping or just lie on the beach. Of course, we were a little worried at first, because it was the first experience of this kind, but in practice we saw that professionals (speaking Russian and English) work in the club, who created an optimally comfortable and developmental environment that would suit children of different characters . Mia is still that fidget, she definitely needs to dance, play and dance, Mark loves to read and draw more, but also loves football and sports competitions.

We tested the kids club ourselves and can recommend it to friends and acquaintances (some of them are already packing their bags).

And now I would like to write about how we visited the educational and entertaining excursion “Magic Park + NOESIS Science Center and Technology Museum” from Mouzenidis Travel (who booked the hotel and tour). This tour is two in one: an ultra-modern science center and an amusement park. Both places are breathtaking, and equally in adults and children (here the age line is erased), because everyone feels the joy of new knowledge, discoveries and adrenaline-endorphin emotions equally strongly!

Science Center and Museum of Technology (Noesis) is a significant Greek museum, located near the city of Thessaloniki, and was founded in 1978.

We were very impressed by the planetarium: its dome is 25 meters in diameter, and the outer diameter of the hemispherical screen is 18 meters. He works with digital technologies and projection equipment, we have never been in this before, so the feeling remains strong. The children were focused, it was clear that they were very fascinated by what was happening in the digital sky.

There are several divisions in the museum. The so-called technopark, where various achievements of technology, electricity, magnetism, mechanics and optical discoveries are presented, was also very impressive for us. The great thing here, in my opinion, is that the exhibits are presented in an interactive way, so that children and their parents can touch, taste and interact with objects and objects. Science is presented in an interesting game form, and not just in a museum showcase behind glass. We visited a 300-seat 3D cinema with a huge flat screen, where science films are shown (again, you feel in another reality, and not just watching a movie), and the children also learned what virtual reality is and how to visit it : )

There is also an exhibition with a large collection of vintage cars (this is more for dad and Mark), and Mia and I really liked the exhibition of ancient Greek technology (Mia is crazy about ancient myths), so we invented like Olympic gods and people used technology as they built houses and sailed the sea.

After the museum, our holiday continued in the spacious Magic Park. It is worth noting that not only attractions were collected here in one area, but the park was specially designed and created as an integral entertainment town (70.000 sq. m).

We really enjoyed the roller coasters and carousels. The kids took a ride on the haunted train and won a pair of soft toys in a competition of precision and dexterity. Also, we all quietly took a ride in the Ferris wheel and admired the view of the sea and ships, and the children let us go to make a dead loop on an extreme centrifuge. So to say that we had a busy time - to say nothing. It was great!

I will finish, and in the following stories I will write how we traveled around Sithonia and what resort villages we visited. Get in touch!
