Last year I was in Thassos, this year I'm going to Crete. I am still choosing a hotel, but I decided to remember about the last vacation and write. I rested with two children (6 and 12 years old) in this hotel from 14 to 28 August. We took "all inclusive" so as not to worry about food. We are always guided by this indicator when searching for a hotel. According to the reviews I read that the food is good, so I was not very worried about it. In principle, we were not mistaken with the hotel. There was always something to eat. I wouldn't say it's too different. But here to each his own. For someone, even 10 types of meat at dinner will not be enough. And someone will be very happy with omelettes of 2 types. If we talk about the way to the hotel, then far, of course. But the children were delighted with the ferry. We flew to Thessaloniki, and from there, first by bus, and then by ferry to Thassos. Swim for 40 minutes. But the ferry does not pump. It's big and hasn't been a problem. By the way, I have never seen such impudent seagulls anywhere. They sit right on their hands and ask for food. The children, of course, were delighted and squealed with joy there, and I strained every time. But the impressions in children will definitely remain from feeding seagulls for the rest of their lives.
The hotel itself is small, but that's more of a plus than a minus. And the beach is literally 2 steps away. This is a great place for kids, I can say. The entrance is sandy and there are no sea urchins. For me, this is also important. The beach itself is big enough. In length. As we were told, about 10 km. Rooms are small, but wi-fi catches well. There are swimming pools and a gym. From the entertainment in the hotel there is nothing. Everything is quiet and calm there, but this is not a problem. You can go one day to a tavern nearby. It's called Olga. There is a Greek evening. For children, I'm not sure that it will be interesting, but I went once when I put my people to bed. I like it. Music and dancing are great. There are also Russian-speaking employees. So, there is no problem with the language. I think that for a budget holiday - this is a very decent option. And the kids will love it too if you entertain them.
