It is more difficult to get to it along the coastline, but it's worth it, there are sunbeds (7 euros 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella), there is a beach bar, and during the day you can have a bite to eat there, the portions are huge, I recommend. The hotel staff is responsive. In principle, this is all about the hotel, there is no special infrastructure nearby.
In the hotel you can also take excursions from Wilson, we went to the most famous bay of Novagio and on turtles. I highly recommend these trips, they are taken directly from the hotel and brought back, accompanied by a Russian-speaking guide. In general, we were accompanied by a Russian girl Valentina, a professional in her field, in addition to being very erudite and attentive to her group. We were satisfied. The island is just fabulous, we are already the third time in Greece, but this is our best trip.

Back in winter, we booked tours by early booking, we were in anticipation of a vacation for a long time and are glad that our expectations were more than justified! We booked the Matilda Hotel with Mouzenidis. It is very cozy, with a well-groomed green area, a clean pool, comfortable sun loungers by the pool (thank you that it is not plastic or wooden "lattice" on which it is inconvenient to lie) and a wooden floor - very comfortable, it does not heat up very much and is not slippery, very attentive staff who always answered our requests with a smile, a beautiful panoramic view of the sea from the room, and most importantly - a great beach! A wide coastline, a moderately gentle entrance to the sea (when it’s shallow for a long time and it takes several minutes to go to the depth, I also don’t like it), the sea is calm, there are almost no waves, there are bins and changing rooms on the beach, there are beach bars...
I liked the food, both breakfast and dinner. Especially love the feta. Still, we tried so many, but they didn’t find one like in Greece. We dined often in the same restaurant, but for a surcharge. Back in winter, we booked tours by early booking, we were in anticipation of a vacation for a long time and are glad that our expectations were more than justified! We booked the Matilda Hotel with Mouzenidis. It is very cozy, with a well-groomed green area, a clean pool, comfortable sun loungers by the pool (thank you that it is not plastic or wooden "lattice" on which it is inconvenient to lie) and a wooden floor - very comfortable, it does not heat up very much and is not slippery, very attentive staff who always answered our requests with a smile, a beautiful panoramic view of the sea from the room, and most importantly - a great beach! A wide coastline, a moderately gentle entrance to the sea (when it’s shallow for a long time and it takes several minutes to go to the depth, I also don’t like it), the sea is calm, there are almost no waves, there are bins and changing rooms on the beach, there are beach bars...
I liked the food, both breakfast and dinner. Especially love the feta. Still, we tried so many, but they didn’t find one like in Greece. We dined often in the same restaurant, but for a surcharge. The two of us rested, but there were also families with children, for children there is a children's pool and a playground.

We were going to rest with friends very quickly, so we didn’t choose the hotel in particular - we trusted the girl from the Mouzenidis travel agency and did not lose. Zakynthos is a small island in the Ionian Sea. The island is immersed in greenery, and the water is surprisingly clear, if you look at the boats moored to the shore, it seems that they are just floating in the air.

Zakynthos is a small island in the Ionian Sea. The island is immersed in greenery, and the water is surprisingly clear, if you look at the boats moored to the shore, it seems that they are just floating in the air.
So, the Matilda Hotel 3 * is very cozy. The territory is not large, but everything is saturated with the spirit of Hellas.
The rooms are spacious and clean, of course there are some nuances... we stopped in on the day before which it was raining, and the room was damp, insufficiently ventilated and dried, and there were minor flaws in the room, but for a 3 * hotel it is quite comfortable, in the evenings there are even animation entertainment programs and once a week there was a Greek evening.
We took breakfast and dinner, which was enough for us. The breakfast had everything you need: scrambled eggs, toast, sometimes pancakes, just boiled eggs, sausage, a couple of types of cheese, olives and jams - what else do you need for a good breakfast? ! For dinner, there were fruits and meat and several types of green salads. We weren't hungry.
If anyone wants to buy something, then the hotel has a free shuttle to the market. Market is 1.5 km from the hotel.
Free wi-fi works well in the hotel.
Beach. From the hotel you can walk to 2 beaches - Porto Zoro, next to the sea there is a small natural area with healing clay where you can arrange SPA procedures for yourself) and there is a second beach - Vurderi, a slightly steep descent leads to the beach, so people with disabilities or people with small children, it will be a little uncomfortable. But on the other hand, the beach is a more relaxing holiday, because there are fewer people.
Rest on Zakynthos turned out to be very calm and measured. We went to the beach, took excursions from the guide Wilson, a very pleasant and competent employee of Mouzenidis Travel.
I advise everyone - take a good mood and go to Zakynthos!
