Where to go to rest, thought for a long time. Finally decided to go to Croatia, more precisely to Dubrovnik. Never regretted. We were two families, two children: a 12-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl. I will make a reservation right away, the children did not get bored, although there was no entertainment for children in the hotel. I really liked the hotel. Large, cozy building, comfortable new furniture, nothing more. Nice, spacious, comfortable rooms. Very friendly, courteous staff, good service in the restaurant, high-quality room cleaning. The only minus is the entry into the sea and the sea itself. No, no, the sea is wonderful - clean, transparent, beautiful. But for me it was cold. The first week the temperature was 24 degrees (of course, you can swim, but you won’t swim for a long time). And the second week the temperature was 21 degrees. In addition, there were many currents in the sea and quite strong ones. Well, there's nothing to be done - the Adriatic. . . The entrance to the sea is a ladder, like in a pool, attached to the stones. You go down to the last step and immediately need to swim, otherwise you can damage your legs (the stones are very slippery and large). So if you are not very young or you have sore knees, then this beach is not suitable for you. . The hotel has a swimming pool, clean and warm, as well as a jacuzzi. The hotel has a good spa, Turkish bath, sauna. The food at the hotel is very decent, a little monotonous, but quite decent: fruits, cheeses, sausages, omelettes, scrambled eggs, juices, champagne. In general, everything that happens in good hotels. We did not take dinner (although they say it is good). Not far from the hotel there is a beautiful promenade area with a large number of restaurants, cafes, bars (on foot 10-20 minutes). If you walk to the promenade and go left up the hill, you can walk to great restaurants. The prices there are not low, but they cook very tasty, especially seafood. And what a view! In addition, the old town itself is not far from the hotel. 40 minutes walk and 10 by taxi. The city bus stop is next to the hotel. In the old city, of course, more fun. If you want, plunge into history, if you want to wander through the streets and look into various shops and shops. If you don’t want to walk, you can choose a restaurant, and looking at passers-by, sit in it and drink cold white wine (or not cold red, or something else). By the way, there is no shopping in Dubrovnik. There is nothing to buy there except corals. We diluted our trips to the old city and restaurants with excursions. We went to the mountains, to Montenegro. Montenegro is super! Nature is amazing in Croatia, and even better in Montenegro! We rented a yacht and looked at the beauty of Dubrovnik from the sea. Great! Dubrovnik-town is very cozy, pleasant and very clean, somehow washed or something. Croats are friendly, welcoming people. In general, come to Dubrovnik, you will not regret it.
