The last city on our cruise is Dubrovnik.
Dubrovnik is an ancient city with a rich history. Since the Middle Ages, the city's prosperity has been based on maritime trade, which has allowed the Republic of Dubrovnik to become the only city-state in the eastern Adriatic that can rival Venice. Thanks to its wealth and skillful diplomacy, the city developed impressively during the 15th and 16th centuries. Art and science flourished in Dubrovnik, the city became one of the centers for the development of the Croatian language and culture, for a long time inDubrovnikthe now extinct Dalmatian language was actively used. Generations of the past have left in Dubrovnik a stunning architectural heritage, which, combined with the beauties of the local nature, has led to the fact that the city is called the “Pearl of the Adriatic”.

Dubrovnik
The Old City made an indelible impression on me. The city is fenced with fortress walls, along which, taking a ticket, you can go around the whole city, looking at the interweaving of streets, towers, tiled roofs, the sea - with quiet bays, a harbor with snow-white yachts. You just need to stock up on water, there is nowhere to go from the hot walls of the fortress.

There are many sights on the territory of the Old Town. Puddle Square is the central square of Dubrovnik. Pyle city gate is the main entrance to the old fortified city, to the right of which there is Onofrio fountain. The Old Town is included in the UNESCO book of world treasures, it contains many cultural and architectural masterpieces, such as the Church of St. Vlah, the Prince's Palace, the Dominican and Franciscan monasteries, fountains of the famous Italian architect Onofrio de La Cavi, the oldest synagogue in Europe, a maritime museum, an ethnographic museum and an art gallery.

There are many cafes and restaurants on the territory of the Old Town. You can't call them cheap. Prices are quite European - but everything is very tasty.

Leaving the Old Town, we ended up on the pier, from where boats go to the island Lokrum. The sea view is amazing.

The water is a bit chilly, so we decided to return to the ship, where we can swim in the ship's pools, soak in the jacuzzi and soon we will sail from Dubrovnik. The beautiful bridge of Dubrovnik accompanies us ,
We are returning to Venice. We decide, slowly, having already studied a little,
Venice, wander through its streets and squares, see the Arsenal, where once they made galleys that conquered the seas for Venice. Interestingly, the walls of the Arsenal are very reminiscent of the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.
We decided to take a vaporetto around Venice around the perimeter, then on the ship with great regret we collect bags and suitcases, because in the morning this wonderful fairy tale (our cruise) ends.
We wander around the favorite places of the ship, look from the board at Venice at night. In the morning we leave our home Voyager of the Seas, take the train monorail and here again piazza di Roma, junction of all roads of Venice. Before flying home, we have three more days to swim at the Lido.
