Were in this hotel in July 2012. We went through Tui. We got there by accident, since the hotel we chose did not confirm the reservation, and we were guided only by the previous review, which, by the way, is quite objective, as you can see for yourself, there is not so much information on it. In general, we will add our five cents.
Road. From the airport took a little over an hour through Split and along the coast. In the bus, it is better to sit on the right side, magnificent seascapes open up. And when driving through Omis (according to time, about an hour later, and already 8 km from it to the hotel) - look to the left, you will see an old pirate fortress on the mountain. I must say that the representative of the tour operator on the bus behaved rather silently, announced when someone had a meeting with the guide and that was it. We often travel and are somehow used to the fact that they will provide us with basic information, such as where to change the currency (in Croatia, the kuna is a minimum banknote of 10 kuna, then a trifle with the image of animals, beautiful, and lime coins), how to call, security measures And so on. Silence reigned here, and everything had to be comprehended from one's own experience.
Hotel. We were settled immediately, as it was afternoon time. They did not fill out any papers, they gave a voucher, put on bracelets and received a key. We lived in the main building and from our bell tower we can appreciate its advantages over the bungalow, the main of which is that it is on the "first line". When they saw how much it took to climb the mountains and in the heat to those bungalows, they crossed themselves three times. The travel agency warned that there were no air conditioners in the building, but they were in every room, apparently installed recently, and very good, almost silent (inside). It was inconvenient only in the evening, when you sit on the balcony, and it cools the room, then the fan makes noise over your head. We had a third floor room, near the stairs. Below was the roof of the restaurant, and therefore a magnificent view of the sea surrounded by pines. In the rooms further down the corridor, huge pine trees blocked the view. By the way, all rooms overlook the sea, only there are no balconies on the 1st floor, but there are roller blinds. But the people under the windows do not really roam, the paths are lower. The room itself is small, with a fresh renovation, the plumbing is new, but the pelvis of the shower cabin with traces of restoration. The balcony has wooden blinds. We also had something messed up with tiles, and the water that splashed from the shower onto the floor did not go into the drain under the sink, but accumulated on the floor. But these are trifles. The TV caught only the RTR planet, and the music channel broadcast national Croatian songs. They sing badly, there are no good voices, and they don't know how to make videos. Here.

Beach. Really annoying without safety shoes. We did not have it, and the entry into the sea was made very carefully and slowly. It has not yet been determined that the best approach is to jump from the breakwater (about 1 meter above the surface). Only under the structure itself is shallow, you have to jump away. Opposite the building, there are smaller stones, the area is fenced with buoys, but there was a crowd of people and children, and we went to the side, there were 3-4 people on the entire beach. Advice about rugs was very relevant, thank you. They took it and never regretted it. I will add that you don’t need to bring umbrellas, the beach is surrounded by pine trees, and you can find shade at any time, especially in the morning. Towels were also useful, the weather changed, one of the days was generally very cold. The pools were discovered only on the second day, but they never plunged there. Dirty and cold water.
Nutrition. It's pretty decent for a troika, a lot of meat, mostly beef, chicken fillet and turkey in gravy. Once we had fried chicken. But it’s very monotonous, even in Turkey and Egypt, the dishes change at least a little, they add something new, but not here. Since with “all inclusive” food is paid special attention, I will tell you in more detail, “+” and “-” noting the dishes you liked and disliked. No badges - normal taste
Breakfast. "+" Cottage cheese, yogurt, fried bacon (as in hotels in Greece), cheeses
Muesli, canned fruit cocktail, bread (tastier in Turkey, Egypt), eggs, sausage, scrambled eggs. The pancakes were not fried. Lots of pastries with pies, marmalade, chocolate cream, curds.
"-" Wieners, sausages
Lunch and dinner: "+" Pasta, mashed potatoes, 1 time "fries", rice, meat, stewed peppers, meatballs, homemade sausages, minced meat roll.
"-" Fish (bitter), baked vegetables in an omelette (unsalted), baked meat (hard).
Soups (mostly beef broth with noodles) or vegetable broth are okay, but those who like cream soups like this will be disappointed, they ate better.
Pizza for dinner (+). At first, a queue forms behind it, but by 9 pm you can take it freely. In the evening, ice cream (sometimes tastier), most of all I liked strawberry with sourness, it was not in vain that it ended the fastest.
Salads were absent as a class, they did something similar to Olivier, but the taste was disgusting. They gave sliced tomatoes (already floating in the juice and, apparently, turning sour), shredded cabbage, only it could be eaten with salt and seasoned with oil, standing next to it in a bottle, carrots, olives. A couple of times there were lightly salted cucumbers.
Lots of fruits (watermelon, melon, apples, oranges, kiwi, bananas, peaches, plums). Except watermelon and melon, everything is whole, not cut. All kinds of cakes and rolls (small choice), 2-3 types. Puddings "+", white and chocolate. Green and yellow are disgusting.

The drinks. No one pours anything, not even alcohol. There are automatics. In the morning and from 16.30 to 17.30 they include coffee (as in shopping centers, you can choose cappuccino, hot chocolate, coffee with milk (-++)). Beer 2 types from the machine (+). Separately, in the basket are bottles of alcohol: vodka (not so hot), tincture "Travarnitsa" (like moonshine), brandy (fee), three types of liqueurs, the most delicious nut. There are two kinds of wine in the vending machine. Have not tried.
Non-alcoholic standard, also a vending machine with cola, fanta, tonic, 2 juices (not UPI, looks like a mixture of multivitamin / orange and apple syrup with water), Ice Tea. With hot water really strained, it is better to take a boiler. After 9 pm until 11 pm, it is useless to pour anything, these machines give out only tinted water.
Staff. Just great. Surpassed all previously seen in dozens of hotels and countries. Imperceptibly, but very high quality cleaning in the restaurant, in the room. If a dish ran out, they brought it immediately, they didn’t clow around during cleaning, like the Turks or Arabs. The room was cleaned with enviable speed while we were at breakfast. But what struck me the most was the receptionist. We approached to exchange currency, as we were going to Omis, and we had to pay for the bus. And it turned out that the exchange works only from 8.00 to 14.00. And the clock was 16.00. We were upset, because we had already gathered, tuned in. And the girl takes out her wallet and says that she can lend us 50 kunas until the evening. We returned the money to her, essno, in the evening. Another time they asked what was interesting in Makarska, so several pages with a list of attractions were printed from the Internet.
Animation. We are not interested in it, but for children, it is probably interesting. We saw how the animators played educational games with them, then they did some kind of origami, then carnival masks, then they drew. A significant minus - in the evenings the music was screaming at the disco until 23.00. This was annoying, because the windows in the rooms are not plastic, but wooden, and everything was heard. Of all the sounds, this is the most unpleasant, since the road is not heard at all.

Excursions. We corny pierced them. At a meeting with the guide the next day after arrival, when we were sold all the joys of life for crazy money, we didn’t buy anything, hoping to find a street agency. But outside the hotel there were none, and in Omis they offered only rafting and fishing. Self-propelled visited only Omis itself (the ancient center, a pirate fortress) and Split (the palace of Dionysius, the historical center, UNESCO heritage).
Adviсe.
1. It is better to change the currency in Omiš , but not in kiosks with souvenir junk, but in bank branches (Splitska Bank (opens at 18.00) and Zagreb Bank (opens during the day). Both are in the old town. The rate in them is higher than in commercial exchange offices .
2. The hotel gives the bus schedule Makarska-Split (via Omis and Sagitta), but it does not match. On average, the bus runs every half an hour. To Omis 13 kunas (rate 1 euro-7.4 kunas), to Split - 49. But we tried 5 times to sit on it at the indicated time, and it was not there. They caught a ride. And once at the entrance he said to wait for the next one and left. They can't take standing passengers.
3. The most profitable way to get to Split is this: by bus to Omiš , and a small minibus (16 kunas) arrives at the same stop. There is also a big bus number 60 (20 kunas). It turns out cheaper. By the time you can go to Omis between lunch and dinner, a few hours are enough to climb it up and down. In Split, it is worth wandering longer, but you can also meet it.
4. Souvenirs are cheaper in Omis.
In general, the hotel is excellent, as is the country itself. We really liked Croatia, although we were going to it for a long time, we were afraid of disappointment after the nature of Montenegro. And now they have unanimously been included in the list of countries where you can return. Yes, I forgot to say. From dawn to night, cicadas scream deafeningly every second. Damn, now I really miss them.
Sorry for a lot of bukaf. There will be questions, ask.
