The hotel is not 5 *, but everything suited us: location, staff, food. Unlike the hotels closest to it, this one has an escalator. It’s convenient when you “get tired of relaxing” on the beach or excursions, you don’t have to crawl up the stairs (although there are about 35 steps, and they are in other hotels, because the location is on a hill above the sea).

The hotel is wonderful. Everything is very clean, good housekeeping. The kitchen for all tastes was very pleased with a large assortment of confectionery. We are going to go there again, although we have already been there 5 times.

Very good memories of holidays in Croatia in general and in this hotel in particular. Attentive and friendly staff, minimal language barrier, very good cuisine, everything is in the room and everything works, daily change of linen. I plan to go there again next year, because not everyone has seen it, but there is something to see.

I rate the hotel at 7, because there is something to compare with. Croatia is my favorite country, I have been to it more than once. As for this particular hotel: the room itself was two-room and spacious - nothing to complain about... But the toilet... Meter by meter. I am not overweight and, nevertheless, I had to shine with acrobatics to get out of the shower.

I am not overweight and, nevertheless, I had to shine with acrobatics to get out of the shower. The food is good. The design of the hall and the hotel as a whole is an amateur. To me, it's so dark. Escalators near the hotel do not always work. The staff at the reception is friendly, but in the dining room - not so much. In general, I can say that there are hotels in Croatia with fewer stars, but more pleasant ones. Hope this information is helpful! Have a nice holiday in the summer of 2011! Katerina.

Of all the hotels in the complex, the green lagoon of Istra is located more conveniently than others. due to the fact that it stands on a small hill, discos that rattle in the evenings on the beach, as well as noisy bars, do not interfere if you stay downstairs (do not be afraid of the stairs - for the lazy and transporting suitcases there is an escalator that works both up and down). next to Istra is a shopping mall where you can buy anything from souvenirs and towels for the beach to sweaters in case of a cold snap =) we rested for 16 days, of which only 2 were rainy, and the rest, well, just a fairy tale. tch returning home flaunted a chocolate tan. also 3 min walk-minimarket, post office, exchanger. The beach is the cleanest. the sea is calm. we sunbathed lying on the lawn. Yes, it sounds weird, but it's actually nice. I advise you to purchase beach mats at the above mini market upon arrival. speaking about the staff, it is worth noting genuine friendliness, openness and knowledge of Russian. The kitchen is full of choice. a lot of salads, casseroles, fish and meat dishes, fruits, sweets. there is ice cream, juice, local wine and beer. this is for dinner. breakfast, in addition to the classic set of "porridge, scrambled eggs, sausages, sausages, cheeses", pleased with a good selection of dairy products. their yogurt and cottage cheese are especially tasty. if you have an excursion with an early departure or a late return, no problem, they will feed you. There are tables both inside and outside with a view of the bay. themed evenings are held with the appropriate cuisine (national or fish), we dined either in the room or in a cafe (I highly recommend Dvi Miduli, which is towards Parentium. It looks modest, but their seafood on the grill is licking your fingers, the prices are low and everything is fresh. there are national dishes). you can stock up on edibles in a supermarket near the campsite (walk past the albatross hotel and courts) there is nothing there. we even bought there prosciutto by weight and vacuum-packed cuts, local beer, sheep's cheese with truffles, sweets. and so they took milk and local fruits there (I especially advise watermelon and melon). The room is clean, comfortable, the view from the balcony is gorgeous. The pool at the hotel was in demand. next to rent two showers and many, many sun loungers for those who do not want to go to the beach. the hotel is green: palm trees, marigolds, geraniums, etc. in the evening there is live music in the open bar, but until a reasonable time and at an acceptable volume, we slept with the balcony door open. animation for every taste. up to water aerobics. there were many children, from teenagers to infants, to whom the staff was especially reverent, with attention. These little ones did not bother us at all, I noticed them only at dinner. in general, there were elderly people and middle-aged companies, and families, and young people. tch the hotel is ideal for all categories. few Russians. There were Croats, Italians, Germans. tourist trains run all the way to the river, which are pleasant to ride, as you breathe fresh air, remember your childhood and admire the landscape (the path along the seashore). Excursions also depart from the Albatross hotel, which is across the road from Istra. I recommend Istra to anyone and everyone!! ))

It took a long time to select a hotel acceptable in terms of conditions and finances. The selection criteria were as follows: proximity to the sea, availability of a swimming pool, half board, green area, proximity to the city. As a result of the search, the hotel Laguna Istra was found near the town of Poreč . An acceptable price for us turned out to be at the operator VCO travel together with TUI. The long search was justified - the hotel and the operator did not disappoint us. Everything was organized at a high level. We were met at the airport, put on the bus and taken to the hotel, where we were quickly settled, despite the fact that we arrived early in the morning (at 8 o'clock), and the check-in was from 12-00. Room (DBL) excellent-two-room with a large double bed, sofa, TV, air conditioning, hair dryer. The only thing that brought a little inconvenience - a tiny bathroom, combined with a shower. For a complete person - it would be "-". The room was cleaned every day. Towels were changed every 2-3 days. We had food - breakfast and dinner (buffet). The food was very good, varied and tasty. Every day they served a variety of fruits (including pineapples) and fruit desserts, many meat dishes. For dinner, local wine and beer were served. We were satisfied with the food at 5+ (unlike the "Turkish" and "Egyptian" buffet, which was dominated by vegetables in different versions). The hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. Now about the territory. What we noticed immediately upon arrival is that in the "Green Lagoon", where the hotel was located, there is wonderful air, a beautiful green area. The paths are paved, around there are flower beds with beautiful flowers. The nearest town of Poreč can be reached in 10-15 minutes by tourist train or by rented bicycle. As for the beach - not far from the hotel there is a small beach with small pebbles. If you go further along the coast (about 500 m), you can find a bigger beach. It is also very convenient that there is a marina for boats near the hotel - you can take a boat trip, or swim to Poreč by boat. The only "-" of this hotel we noticed was the lack of animation, but we didn't need it, in the evening we went to watch animation programs in the nearby Albatross. In the evening, all vacationers walk along the embankment, relax in cafes with live music. Of the excursions, we took a boat trip to Rovinj and a bus tour to Plitvice Lakes. We were absolutely delighted with both. The most beautiful city of Rovinj and the most beautiful lakes of unusual emerald color will remain in our memory for a long time. You can talk for a long time. . . But it is better to see once than hear a hundred times or read for a long time. . . I advise everyone!!!! !

To my surprise, I did not notice the casino in the hotel itself ...However, for lovers of entertainment, there is a casino in the Parentium hotel (5 minutes) and competitions and performances are regularly held at the Albatros hotel (also 5 minutes).
In the morning, the hotel opens its veranda and you can enjoy your breakfast al fresco while admiring the sea view. The service is at a very high level, the staff speaks fluent English, German and Russian. The hotel is half board, the dinner is very good, the choice is huge, a lot of vegetables and fruits, even seafood is served.
Drinks other than water - for a fee, but are inexpensive, and the quality is good. The only negative is that the hotel is located on a hillock and you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs (approximately 1 flight).
The hotel has a currency exchange and gift shop. Not far from the hotel there is a small fair, which is open in the evenings, the waterbus pier to Poreč (3 km), the final stop of the tourist train, as well as the rental of bicycles and scooters and, of course, tour desks. Curiously, the T-shirt bought at the fair with a photograph printed on it is still alive. Not new, of course, but still ...
The Laguna Istra hotel does not have its own beach and it is better to occupy a narrow strip of pebble beach in the morning. But it is best to walk 5 minutes in the direction of the Parentium Hotel, the beach is much more interesting there, located under the spreading crowns of pines and from time to time a squirrel runs through the territory. There are a lot more places out there.

We liked the hotel very much. the room has air conditioning, TV, hair dryer, soap, shampoo. we had a balcony and a sea view. you can get in with rooms without a balcony, because on the lower floors they are practically at ground level, so I advise you not to be greedy and pay extra for a balcony.

the room is spacious and comfortable. cleaned every day, for two weeks 1 time changed bed linen, towels - every day. buffet food, wonderful, a wide choice for every taste, a lot of fruit, which was a pleasant surprise, because in the Green Lagoon itself there is nowhere to buy fruit. once a week, the restaurant hosted a themed dinner - fisherman's or national. from 1200 to 1400 in the hotel buffet they gave cakes and sandwiches for free, however, drinks at their own expense (it’s better to take it with you, otherwise it’s expensive in the buffet) there is animation, but boring. although it won’t be boring in the Green Lagoon itself: there is an inflatable water park, tennis courts, a large sand volleyball court, you can rent bicycles and catamarans, a lot of restaurants and shops. in the direction of the Dolphin hotel there is a supermarket where food and water are cheaper. but it’s better to go to Poreč , there are a lot of shops, the choice of everything is bigger and cheaper (although not by much). beach-platforms in places, pebbles in places. you can walk to the beach of the hotel Parentium-there is a pine grove. it is more convenient to buy bathing slippers (those who were in Egypt, take your own! : ), otherwise walking along the bottom is not very pleasant and slippery. the sea is very clean and while we were resting, I did not see any jellyfish at all. I was afraid of sea urchins, but they were not there either. I also advise you to take a denser sunbathing mat: it hurts to lie on a towel on the platform, and it’s cold on the grass. although special rugs, like slippers, are sold in large quantities in local shops.
a regular bus goes to Porec (about 5-10 minutes), a train and a boat (it takes about half an hour, but the walk is much more pleasant and interesting) - they are all the same for the price, so whoever likes what.
excursions are sold both at the hotel, and in travel agencies, and from representatives on the beach (although the latter are cheaper, their concept of a “Russian-speaking guide” is not a guide, as expected, so you won’t get much information about sights)
