We traveled from 19 to 26 June. We were lucky with last-minute trips (TUI tour operator worked for 5 points), a week with breakfast and dinner 2 days before departure cost 420 euros per adult. For children, the hotel gives a discount depending on age, this pleased us, one of the categories of children under 18 years old (our child is 14, and in other hotels we pay the full price for him). Accordingly, I compare all subsequent delights with the amount spent. Since July the hotel is much more expensive. We were very pleased with Mediteran. The location is just great: 15 minutes to Poreč through a beautiful shady park along the sea. If desired, you can drive up a tourist train or on a boat. The area is called Plava Laguna, the hotels are not fenced and the territories of some pass into others, you can go to any beach, to any restaurant. There were no incidents such as thefts, on the contrary - the child forgot his backpack with a phone, a player on a bench, and in half an hour ours was on the same bench in the city. Rooms "Mediterana" with a fresh renovation. They clean (make the bed, change towels and wash the bathroom) daily. They did not leave a tip, the maid was never seen - she cleaned in our absence. All rooms with balconies, good view everywhere. Because of the tall fir trees, almost no one has a view of the sea, so it's not worth overpaying for it. The bathroom has a hairdryer. The room has air conditioning. The food is very good, many kinds of meat, fish, fruits. Alcoholic drinks are included, which is rare for HB in Europe: champagne for breakfast, wine and beer in the evening, all worthy. The pool is small but we didn't go there. The beaches are rocky, descending into the water along the ladders, but near the hotel there is also a regular entry. Still, I advise you to take slippers for swimming - it is more convenient. I really liked sunbathing on the green lawns by the sea: if you want - in the sun, if you want - in the shade. Near the sea, sunbeds are paid, but on soft grass it is much more pleasant to lie on your mats. The hotel does not provide beach towels. Many sports activities are organized around the hotel: volleyball, bicycles, trampolines, tennis, etc. A lot of people run, because Plava Laguna is simply created for walking, jogging, cycling. We personally did not like the animation in the hotel, because. painfully "pensioner" and "unobtrusive", but we have an active teenager. Live music plays in the evening. If the number is directly above the stage, it can be disturbing if you go to bed early. The hotel guests are mostly elderly Germans, but there are also Italians, Slovenes, “ours”, etc. Plava Laguna has its own small shop (5 minutes walk), but the choice and prices there leave much to be desired. We went 2 times in Poreč to a large Mercator supermarket, where we bought wine, prosciutto, cheese for lunch snacks at a table on a shady balcony. About excursions. We have already been to Croatia, so we only went to the cave on a rainy day. The cave is beautiful, after it they bring in wine tasting. In general, a half-day excursion, interesting and not tiring. Who is the first time in Croatia, I highly recommend Plitvice Lakes - incredibly beautiful! Excursions in the cities of Istria – optional, they all look like Poreč . It is probably worth going to these cities on a yacht, beautiful panoramas, swimming and all that. Our hotel guide was weak, he offered excursions sluggishly and indifferently. If he is not satisfied with the program or days, then on the street they offer no worse (both representatives that catch under the hotel and at the travel agency in Poreč ). Food prices in the Porec supermarket, clothing stores, restaurants are almost the same as in Kyiv. The course was 1 euro 7 kunas (the guide told us where the exchange was 7.13). In general - everyone (and especially lovers of walking and fresh air) - I advise!
