Before a trip to this hotel, I read the review "Romantic Robinson in the center of civilization. " Probably, when the author of this article was resting, the way it was. But I want to add something from myself. Firstly. Many visitors from the city and other hotels. Queues are created on the boat and not everyone can leave with one boat. In fairness, I’ll say that another boat is immediately served. But the very stay in the queue gives the scoop. Secondly. The hotel was full, there were no rooms available. And therefore, we were evicted on the day of departure at 11 o'clock, and we had the plane at 23 o'clock. Imagine, you have 12 hours before the plane, around the sea, heat, and you are on suitcases. We offered at the reception to pay for an extra night, but they pointed us to a storage room and a public shower in the spa. As a result, we checked out at 11 o'clock, took our suitcases and went to Rovinj. We left them in a storage room and walked around the city all day, moving from restaurant to restaurant. Although we did not regret this walk, but, you know, the sediment remained.
I was surprised why the Croats are considered a hospitable people. Everything is quite restrained, you can say in a businesslike way, without rudeness, but you can’t call it any special friendliness either. Tips were left somewhere around 10% of the bill, but smiles or thanks from the service staff cannot be squeezed out.
So that my review does not seem particularly negative, I join the positive reviews about the hotel, the sea, nature and the country as a whole. Much has been written about this, and rightly so. In our country, all these fabulous islands would have been privatized and built up with private dachas long ago. Everything here belongs to the people. And, you see, to educated people - they don’t cut the forest for barbecue, they don’t litter and they don’t crap. And we have a lot to learn from them.
