Going to visit Croatia so dearly beloved for the 4th time, as always, we hoped to get a charge of vivacity from swimming in the sea, enjoying nature and local beauties and enjoying the level of service that we were mostly satisfied with earlier. Alas, in addition to the sea and nature, we were unpleasantly and unexpectedly surprised and disappointed by the 4-star "service" of this hotel. For example, the air conditioner in the room did not work properly, it constantly smelled of perfume; an appeal to the staff with a request to find out the reason for the action did not have any effect. Bed linen was changed only on the 8th day and only after contacting the maitre d'. Internet in the WIFI zone in the lobby bar - for a fee. And this is in a 4* hotel! Not far from the hotel there is a night club, the hum from the music playing in it did not let you fall asleep until 4 in the morning.
Despite all the above points, we were pleasantly surprised by the gift brought to the room from the hotel management to our child, whose birthday coincided with the stay at the hotel.
Summing up, I can say the following: there is no point in overpaying for 4 * - the same set of services is available in 3 * hotels.

And the main point: until the Croats change their attitude towards the Russians, or at least they treat us (Russians) as they treat the inhabitants of the European Union, we Russians will have a desire to find a piece of paradise somewhere else.
