My husband and I came to Hajdú szoboszló for the second time, but now in autumn. The first time was in June - very hot. We arrived in autumn, cold and rainy. We chose a 4 * hotel, we wanted to swim not only in thermal pools, but also in a simple one, but the weather decided in its own way. We were only a week, there was no heat, I didn’t want to swim.
The hotel has thermal pools and 32-34°C and 36-38°C. We lived in the main building, in the new one we went only to the salt room. There are also pools, but we did not go there. There is also a good gym, but after the thermal pools there was no strength left. Treatment was not taken, only thermal pools. In the main building there are several more types of saunas, a font with water at 18°C ​ ​ and ice or snow swells. . . Everything is very good.
At first they settled in a room with windows to the north, in summer this location of the room is good, but when it's not hot outside, then the room wants to be warmer. We asked and after 2 days we were moved to a room overlooking the pools. Upon arrival, everyone is met by the Russian-speaking representative of "1000 Roads" Iboya. Here is a real caring nanny! Have you arrived? First, go and see the room, is there a bathrobe, a kettle? There was no kettle. Then they brought us a teapot and cups and tea bags and sugar and lemon juice.

In the evenings they indulged in tea, especially in the first room (No. 301). Then they moved to room 310. Keep in mind that there are no clothes dryers in any room, there is no heating, the heated towel rails are cold. Everyone is adapting the best I can. We went to reception and asked for a dryer and they brought it to us! ! The truth is kind of weird. . .
The restaurant is good, I liked it. I read about freshly squeezed juice and got carried away... But the body did not accept it. I began to make juice without beets, only apples and pears. Amazing. True, it is not clear why palinka, wine, beer and champagne are needed in the morning? Yes, some drink. Here is a herring, a fish...
Upon arrival, they were treated to glasses with palinka....I refused, my husband drank both)))
The restaurant has a minus - there is no translation of the names of dishes. At least they drew a picture: a fish, a cow or a chicken. You take something in batter, but what exactly is unknown.
Since we recently came to Hajdú szoboszló , we took only one excursion to Tokaj. A good tour and the guide Emil is wonderful, but it was raining that day, it's a pity. Again we ourselves went to Debrecen, went to the zoo, climbed the water tower.
The hotel has bicycles, 750 forints per hour. By the way, the exchange rate at the hotel is better than in the whole of Hajdusovoszlo - 324 forints per euro. Better only in one exchange office opposite the Aqua Sol hotel, there are 327!
We rode bicycles to Tesco, and also rode along the highway towards Debrecen. The bike path is good but boring.
On TV, they counted 5 channels in Russian. There are many Russian speakers in the hotel. Hungarians come for the weekend, all the pools are busy. One day, flakes of some kind of dirt appeared in the thermal pool. It may be useful, but it became unpleasant to be in it. They left without regret. It rained all day.
