The evening before, I sat on the terrace for a long time, listening to the river and passionately regretted that the morning would come and we would have to leave. Maybe if the hotel on Tanah Lot had not been booked, we would not have gone on any excursion that day. But then we would not have seen so many beauties!

Here also try vyberi-relaxation or active recreation. It always tears me to pieces, if it were possible, I would stay on vacation for six months) Then I would definitely rest and see enough)

In the morning I got the maximum pleasure - a pool, a river, pancakes with a banana on the terrace, the sun and the smell of wet stone - I raked in more pleasures to bring them to Kyiv and sort them out later, enjoying the memories. Morning in Ubud smells so special - the smell of ancient stones, soaked with moisture and overgrown with moss. This morning is one of my treasures, for which we actually go to distant lands and which we keep especially carefully, going over them in our memories in moments of despair and hopelessness, when we cannot break the yoke of unpleasant reality, but we can at least in our thoughts fly away to the world of canned happiness. The ability to preserve happiness is one of my most serious virtues)

When we were ready, two girls came running and carried our luggage on their heads up the steep stairs. We said goodbye to the owners, to the dogs, the fur-bearing animal in the cage and the picturesque yard. Goodbye, Ubud, soul of Bali, we have added our little pieces of souls to you! )

The first place we stopped at at my request was a wood carving workshop. Of course, I absolutely did not need a workshop, I wanted to see the village of these carvers. That is, the street where one after another there are shops with wooden furniture and interior items. Well, I love to stare at this, and in Bali, wooden products are very beautiful. But what did I say to the driver? ) With my English it is difficult to understand what exactly I want, but even in Russian my daughter did not understand me and could not translate it. There was a picture in front of my eyes that I wanted to get into. And got. . .

Imagine an exhibition in which the carvers themselves are the main exhibit. They sit in orderly rows and cut, sand, varnish . . The feeling is that when he sees a car on the road, the manager commands: “Motor” and all this guard immediately gets to work. They do it so diligently that the desire to buy at least something from them arises in the first minutes of communication with them. True, this desire disappears when we get acquainted with the prices. Although, in fairness, I must say that the things there are masterpieces. There are such works! Delivery to Kyiv is possible with everything that is there, even a huge dancing elephant)

It’s a pity you can’t take pictures there, at least one would benefit from this) Troika for diligence)

My daughter's face was so dissatisfied with such a landmark that the driver was even embarrassed, it was clear that this moment was slippery for him. But no one pulled us there, there was no such item in the plan.

We climbed somewhere up into the mountains, it began to get colder, and when we went out to the observation deck near the Buyan and Tambligan lakes, the wind was blowing quite seriously. We put on jackets, but it was still uncomfortable, we wanted coffee or any other hot drink and sit, but we didn’t find coffee, and the wind drove us further - go, he said, there’s so much ahead of you yet! ) The lakes are beautiful, but I got aroused there, then no) On a four. There was definitely not enough coffee

A little more to the mountains and go to the waterfall Munduk. It is quite cold here, it starts to rain, we warm ourselves stronger. The road in the rain was a little uncomfortable, because it led down and my legs slid, I was in sandals and climbed into the waterfall in them, in general, I tore them and threw them away, it’s good at least I got back. And with us we had slippers for swimming and actually for the waterfall we took them. Why they didn't change, I don't know. Lost a little.

For the approach to the waterfall they take some money, I don’t remember how much. It's so funny - you're walking through the woods, you're walking, suddenly the kiosk is standing - cash desk. I paid and moved on. There is probably only one way. Or they set up such ticket offices throughout the forest)

Worthy waterfall! Of all the waterfalls I've seen, this one is truly impressive. But I've never seen a big one before. Water rushes to the ground with such force that there is a wall of water dust. These are experiences of a lifetime! Emotions run high. Wet, cold, and you climb into this dust like crazy, the energy is grandiose!

Even from afar you feel the power, but up close it just blows. Some, especially desperate, tourists swam, although it was really cold. The rain really stopped, but we didn't feel it. We were wet through, at least twist everything. A raincoat would definitely help. Five with two pluses and a little more to this pleasure! ) Probably this was my strongest impression. And more monkeys)

We change clothes and change shoes, it’s good that the suitcases are with us) We go to Lake Bratan, on the way we meet a flock of beggar monkeys. One stole a cupcake from me in a package, carefully tore it open and ate it all himself. Such a big one, apparently they have a godfather there) The rest plaintively looked at him like that. It can be seen that they wanted to, but did not dare to approach. It is very difficult for little ones in such a family because they cannot eat in any way) There are very arrogant ones, they directly bite each other on the back and how much you feed them, so much the war goes on. The place is clearly touristic, lured, food is sold very close, we had it with us, but many people probably buy it.

In the end, we handed out everything that we had edible and drove on. Monkeys big five! )

The hungry got to Lake Bratan and immediately went to a tourist canteen like a buffet, which is also scolded for crazy prices. I can't tell you the price, I don't remember. So that they surprise me, but the bananas in batter were overeating, I ate several portions of them there) With some kind of wonderful gravy.

On the lake there is a temple on the water - Pura Ulun Danu. I expected more from both the lake and the temple. Somehow I wasn't impressed at all. There were no crowds of people, it was gloomy, chilly, windy. The temple, though on the water, but very close to the shore, small. Maybe I'm tired of impressions. Four in my opinion. But I know people for whom everything is five plus)

Time was already rushing towards evening and we urgently needed to go to Tanah Lot in order to have time to check into a hotel and admire the Temple before sunset, so we didn’t stop by anywhere else.

The Tanah Lot Temple stands on the water. And not just on the water, but in the ocean. When the tide is out, you can approach the temple, and when the tide is in, it becomes an island. As the tide rises, the waves get stronger and stronger.

When we arrived, the tide was just beginning. Waves crash against the rocks, splashes fly, but somehow everything seems frivolous. And I climbed onto the stone to take pictures. I stand with my back to the ocean, suddenly I hear the roar of the waves, I see my daughter's frightened face and I understand that it's time to run) I managed to run away enough for the wave to only wet my ankles. The ocean is not to be trifled with. After another twenty minutes, this stone generally went under the water.

We wandered around for a long time, got acquainted with the pilgrims, went up the mountain to take a picture of the temple from a height. We tried to have dinner there. But the "restaurants" that are in such a chic place are all run down, one is worse than the other. We chose the one from which we liked the view more. The view could reconcile us with the interior and service. But the food . . It is advisable not to eat there.

The funniest thing was when they brought a fork and a spoon, but did not bring a knife. Moreover, the spoon was with an iron handle, and the fork with a plastic one. We explained that we needed a knife, we were looking for it for so long that we imagined how they wash the one with which they clean vegetables in the kitchen)

drank fresh)

We spent the whole evening by the ocean. In reality, it is not as cool as in dreams. It is impossible to approach the raging ocean at high tide, and it is boring to look from the hill. and dark)

Tanah Lot is a must visit. He's a five plus! But you don't have to spend the night there.

In the morning we flew to Singapore, the journey continued, but it was a pity to leave Bali. I will definitely return there. I am one of those who consider Bali to be a paradise. It's not for nothing that the airport is called Ngurah Rai)
