The beach is good, there are trees in the shade of which it is very comfortable to relax. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room is good, especially liked the four-poster bed. The service is good. The room has a fumigator, a tea and coffee set, a TV with RTR-Planet, a mini-bar. But the village of Jimbaran itself sucks. No promenade. . . During the day on the beach, in the evening we went to Kuta or Nusa Dua. Kuta is a very vain place, traffic jams are almost Moscow, exhaust fumes, noise - I didn’t like it at all. We went there twice, both times disappointing in both shopping and restaurants. More expensive than in Jimbaran and Nusa Dua and not tasty at all. But Nusa Dua is a very pretentious and beautiful place. We walked around the Bali Collection - very comfortable and pretty. We went on an excursion to the reptile park, bird park, orchid park, Chinese pharmacy. It turned out that on Sunday yogis from Java did not arrive, therefore, there will be no crocodile show, although tickets for $ 26 per person were sold without warning, they could not be returned. It was not the season in the orchid park - there were only a few blooming orchids. But in a Chinese pharmacy they broke away - they ordered the murder of a cobra, drank its blood and ate its heart !! ! I didn’t remember the taste, but the main thing was to overcome myself. . . They also ordered cobra soup and fried python meat. Similar to chicken in taste, only there are a lot of bones, like in fish. We went to Ulutau and Kechak dance. The dance is boring, but when there is nothing to do, it seems like they found entertainment for the evening. The ocean view from the 100m cliff is beautiful. The monkeys also made me laugh a lot, tore the hairpin from my hair, the local boys took it away and returned it for a reward. Everyone took excursions on the beach from Ivan (he speaks Russian, prices are two times lower than those of the operator). If you write an impression about the country, then, in my opinion, it is not worth so much time to fly there. Thailand is cooler. The service is better, the excursions are more interesting and better organized, and the prices for everything are two or three times lower. The Balinese are trying everywhere with a smile to deceive you. . . They took an entrance fee to the temple, reached the gate, and there was an inscription that the entrance was impossible due to repairs. Late in the evening in Kuta, I tried to change money, I was almost deceived for 20 bucks, they wring money - they warned me in advance, I was vigilant, but unpleasant. They live in poverty, it's dirty everywhere, prices go up, you have to bargain. It was problematic to buy fruits, either to go to Kuta's store or there is a chance to buy something in a shop near the hotel, if anything. But we have not seen such stalls with an abundance of tropical fruits, as in Thailand. Of the Southeast Asian countries, I was in Thailand (Pataya and Phuket), Vietnam, Sri Lanka, there is something to compare with. Phuket and Vietnam are the best!! ! And fly less, the resorts have everything within walking distance - the sea, beaches, delicious food in restaurants, shopping, walking, massages. . . And in Bali, swimming in one place, everything else in another. . . We had dinner in the fishing village, in Kuta twice, in Nusa Dua, in the advertised restaurant of Jimbaran Ubung cafe - nonsense - expensive and not very tasty, but the most unpleasant thing is that the wind blows smoke directly onto the tables, there is nothing to breathe, all the clothes smelled. tastiest in restaurants near the hotel and Nusa Dua. We also went rafting - I liked it very much !! ! - the best excursion. Bali turned out to be not a paradise on earth for us, we saw better places, there is no desire to go there the second time. And yet, for weather-sensitive people - dizziness is possible, because you cross the equator. At times I didn’t feel very well, everything passed in Moscow. I tried to write not only positive, so that there would be no disappointment later, such as almost a day on the road, but it turned out to be different from the pictures and painted in the reviews of tourists who went abroad for the first time. . .
