I will say right away that we often only spent the night in the hotel and swam after breakfast, and then left for the whole day. And there is something to see in Bali, 14 days was not enough!
Well, what about the hotel itself? The beach is quite clean, you just didn’t want to get out of the water. And most importantly - no dangerous living creatures, only crabs run on the sand, a couple of times they saw starfish and small fish swim. True, the husband complained about some tiny transparent crustaceans (or what it was - we did not fully understand).
We did not see strong ebb tides - we probably slept for a long time. Sometimes the water was not above the waist, no matter how far you go. But more often the depth was good. On Nusa Dua, it seemed to me that the tides are felt more strongly. But on Kuta, the beaches are tin. I don't know how they swim there. We walked along the Kuta beach on foot for quite a long time, garbage (mostly natural) and light bulbs (? ) are everywhere on the sand. Of the swimmers, I saw only locals for several hours. After that, I realized that our hotel has a very good beach. But we often went to another island to swim.

The room was clean, cleaned well, towels, bedding - everything changed regularly, although it was not too new. Plumbing worked almost perfectly, only sometimes the pressure of hot water was weak.
Breakfast, of course, is extremely modest - sausage, potatoes, fruit at least. But they didn't go hungry. Didn't like the pool, smell of chlorine. It looks beautiful, but somehow you don’t want to swim there. And why? The ocean is a few meters away.
But in general, already in the hotel you can feel how exotic it is around. You sit late at night on the beach, bats rush past, in the sand and on the water - offering baskets with smoking ares. chopsticks. Directly behind the hotel is a small temple, one day we caught a ceremony there with music and songs, from morning until late evening.
Someone scolds the remoteness of the hotel. What's the problem? Free shuttle to Kuta and Nusa Dua. True, our guide assured that there was no transfer to Kuta, for which he was given a special "thank you" - we rode a taxi for 10 days, until we clarified at the reception.
If you are not going to spend all your days on the territory of the hotel, all its shortcomings are unlikely to bother you.
