Just arrived with my husband from a wonderful trip. The pearl of which was Nikko Bali! Our vacation began in Bangkok, where we stayed at the Ciam City hotel. Nothing special, in the pictures the hotel is better. Further, our path lay in Singapore, and then to Bali. We arrived there late in the evening, everyone was so tired. With one desire to quickly take a shower. At the airport we were met by a friendly guide Aladdin, we were hung up with a necklace of flowers. And the fatigue immediately began to go away. We had a Pool access Club room. If possible, take this number and this option. When we arrived at the hotel, there was still a group of foreigners staying there. We were taken to a separate reception. They offered soft drinks and a cold towel. Another five minutes and we are in our room. The room makes an impression, very cozy and modern. There was nothing to even complain about. And as we later noted, there is nothing to complain about at all. The hotel is super!!! ! The bathroom has two bathrobes for each, well, the whole range, two sets of slippers for each, brushes, shampoos, razors and so on. Everything changes every day, twice. And of course, there are no low tides in the hotel, but the water, although it looks beautiful, is unclear. Still the Indian Ocean.
We have breakfast in a separate place, separate from most people. Breakfasts started an hour earlier (at 6 am) and ended an hour later at (11 am). We didn't see much variety there. It was just comfortable to sit there, you sit down, they bring you a menu and you order what you want. The staff is very friendly. Even if something is not on the menu, but you really want it. Will definitely be ready. And plus there any freshly squeezed juices. During the day, all kinds of snacks are laid out, from three o'clock they put sweets. And from five to seven different alcoholic cocktails. Unlimited fresh juices throughout the day. There is also a small swimming pool, where we often sunbathed and swam alone. The view from there is mesmerizing. Who needs internet.
At the expense of restaurants, the most expensive is the restaurant near the beach. But, it's very tasty. Otherwise, in principle, the prices are the same as elsewhere. I really liked the Japanese restaurant. Be sure to go there. You will not regret.

Spa. Even if it's more expensive than going anywhere else. But, they do all the procedures well. I liked it very much.
Excursions. We went on the "Elephant Safari", really liked the tour. Be sure to go. We were also on the excursion "To the Kintamani Volcano". The excursion offers a journey to the volcano, where they dined and bathed in hot radon waters. They went too far with a visit to the local village. There is only poverty and all. And I didn’t like that there were a lot of trips to all kinds of shops. Gold is more expensive there than here and it is easy to make a mistake by buying a diamond, cubic zirconia or rock crystal at the price. Further, we were on an excursion “To the three islands”. The tour takes place on a speedboat. Cruise to 100-meter cliffs, stop at a wild beach, swim in Crystal Bay. Swim in the ocean with a mask. Very beautiful fish and corals. Not nearly as bad as the Red Sea. And we also stopped at the club beach Bali Hai. There are various water activities already included in the ticket price. I liked the tour.
Be sure to visit the water park in Kuta. It was voted the most beautiful water park in 2005. Really handsome. We got great photos. The slides are good. It will be interesting for both children and adults.
Mostly we went to dinner at Bali collection. There are a lot of shops besides restaurants. In principle, there is good food everywhere. But at Pica tapas grill bar Mediterranean restaurant (I think that's what it's called), it's a very strong show. Starts at seven o'clock.
About money. The currency in Bali is the rupee. The most favorable exchange rate for the euro. You can safely change money in hotels. The course is even better than in many places recommended by the guide.
When we went to Bali, we were worried about the weather. We went during the rainy season. But our fears turned out to be unfounded. There were rains, but at night, or at 5-6 in the morning. And after them there was a bright sun.
We only used blue cabs. They say it is the most reliable and it really is.

Like everything I wanted to tell about Bali. Bali is paradise. But, you know, paradise is only within the hotels. All at the highest level. And outside the hotel is poverty. But if you have the opportunity to visit it is worth it. Insanely beautiful. There you can relax both in body and soul.
