We went to this hotel for the first time in Israel: An excellent hotel, though if you close your eyes to the fact that it has not been renovated for a long time. The description says that it was recently renovated, but my wife and I lived there at the end of February 2011 and there was no renovation. Otherwise, everything is just super: Good geographical location (compared to Moscow, the hotel is located in the Arbat area) excellent view from the windows, close to the old town, city market and bus station, friendly staff, daily cleaning, Russian-speaking employees excellent view, nearby supermarket and Russian grocery store. Large two-room suites, I would even call them small two-room apartments, and most importantly, there is a kitchen. Given that in Israel, and especially in Jerusalem, food is very expensive and not very diverse, having your own kitchen in your room is just a salvation. We went to the market, bought food and cooked for ourselves, though we had to buy a saucepan and disposable utensils, because it’s cheaper to buy and leave everything there than to rent it in a hotel. So, I recommend.
