The hotel is just right if you are travelers, and not plankton, who once a year gets out with the children to eat and drink in AI. Everything you need for life is there - a shared bed, a balcony, a medium shower-toilet, a TV, a safe, breakfast (for an additional fee and dinner) and AIR CONDITIONER! Russian speaking reception. We only slept in the hotel. They went to the sea in the morning (walk 15 minutes past the shops) and came in the evening.
Eilat is a resort city, except for DIVING, a museum of modern art - where you can buy exclusive souvenirs at affordable prices - and there is basically nothing to do there in a 3-D cinema. I advise you to go to the Dead Sea for the whole day by regular bus. Paid excursions there are a scam for money (although everyone will convince you otherwise). For comparison, the two of us went 2 times cheaper than they offered to pay for one! ! Paying money to the agency is only for Jerusalem. Remember, in Israel you have to bargain everywhere and always!
